I'm gonna be abit disappointed if it's actually based on WW2,it'll just mean that we'll get another watered down battlefield series like battlefield 1.I hope that won't be the case even if it's based on WW2.

Why so you think it sucks? Its way more in dept with things like customization etc then BF1 was.

You should check out JackFrags videos on it! The trailer didnt really explain much of the new things!

The day has officially come. EA and DICE officially screwed up the franchise.
Like/Dislike ratio on the trailer does say enough on what true Battlefield fans think of this game.
They even had to pull the original video , so it's only available on third party channels  :hah: :hah:

Take that Fortnite shit to Fortnite. We want Battlefield, not Social Justice Simulator.

The trailer sucked,however the recent gameplay details do sound interesting.

But that doesn't mean that it's gonna be good when it comes to immersion.The dev team talked alot about how they want the game to be as immersive as possible but that clearly doesn't seem to be the case especially with the amount of fornite type shit that I saw in that trailer.

Since when did the british soldiers fight around with fucking katanas on their back?Not to mention that random ass prosthetic arm.Don't even get me started on that female british sniper....something that didn't exist during WW2.The soldiers look like they're from far cry 5 especially when it comes to that one dude that looks like a bald farmer.The political part seems so forced aswell.

In the end,it's their game,they can do anything they wish to do,hell I wouldn't be surprised if players will be able to customize their characters to create a female hitler with a cowboy hat and a prosthetic leg.

Just don't call it WW2 if's its nothing like it.

No, it's false marketing.
A game title always carries a concept and certain expectations within. For historical wars, Battlefield Games always carried a certain amount of historical accuracy within them, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, 1943, Bad Company 2: Vietnam, for example. Those that took place in a fictional conflict (Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142,  Battlefield 3 and so on) always carried a glimpse of militaristic realism ,as in what those conflicts would likely be were they to actually take place. Therefore, when somebody sees a Battlefield title, they expect a semi-realistic military game. and it is not acceptable to milk the Battlefield title to market a game that is some ridiculous Fortnite, SWJ and Call of Duty crossover. By the way, Single Player campaigns is the worst thing that could have happened to the Battlefield franchise. They catch the COD sickness..
