I was downloading a TV show, 20GB. It was downloading at 2.7MBPS before, than accidentally I, shut my laptop's flap down.(Laptop goes to sleep once you do that). I opened up the laptop after 5 minutes, and noticed the torrent file wasn't speeding up. 5KBS, 2KBS. I added trackers, and did all kinds of things. None worked, so if you have a fix, please help out. Peace.

We have a strict policy against any form of piracy. You will have to find an answer to this issue via different channels.

Well, this isn't pirate anyhow since it's uploaded on youtube, and is free to download on any site but for fast download, I rather choose Torrent.
-
try to exit and run as administrator. I've just faced this problem a year ago and fixed it.
-
Didn’t work, still struggling.
-
Uptade trackers is the one thing u can do, if there isnt peers that are uploading u cant do anything!
I dont use torrent from many years, i have a "download manager" and i donwload all with that(pirated too XD) with full speed (depends of the server).
-
you got to get more seeders :D
-
Using a torrent does not mean piracy. Torrent is a way of sharing a file, we do not care which file you do though.
Go to Options>Connections and increase the amount of seeders-leechers add one or two 0 to that number. Next thing is to hit and generate a new random port being used for the application.
-
If you've restricted your upload speed in the settings then that's one potential cause for you getting a bad download speed.
-
Try to make trouble shooter on the adapter so that the windows would reset the wifi/ehthernet to be refreshed.
-
@kawashty that's wrong on many levels and could cause problem if used for no reason.
From Windows Start, search for cmd.
Right click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator.
In the console, type the following command: ipconfig /flushdns
If the command was successful, you will see the message "Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache".
Afterwards, type: netsh int ip reset
Once done, restart your computer.
This will generally make your connection feel a lot smoother, but at times it may be a real trouble-saver.

Tech geniuses save the day!!
-
So did your speed get better now?

You misread what he wrote definitely. It's against our Forum Rules to talk about piracy. You can talk about it wherever you want but NOT on the forums.
