Aight i brought a ATI Radeon 9800pro 256m/128b AGP.
It works pretty nice at the begin, but when am playing GTA for like 5min some HUGE lagggg come in my game for 30sec.
Then its cool for 5min again and then a huge laggg comes again for 30sec.
I talked with Kalle about this and he said that i sould download the newest drivers for my card and delete my old ones.
Aight so i did that but then my GTA doesnt even start up.
So i removed my new drivers again and instaled the old one, but after 5min, the 30sec LAAAAAGGGGG comes again.
Well i dont have much pacient, and am about to go crazy and kick the PC out of my window, so please help.

Or somthings not compatable with it.
Nvidia is better :D

My whole PC goes slow, the startup is like 5min or something.

So does this PC lol
Well, even if you have the best hardwarem and you have loads of spyware and virus's - it will run slow.
So, either format your PC and reinstall OS and start all over, or idk...

I already checked for spyware ect ect. just found some, but it didnt made my PC any faster

I know, but there are virsus & stuff that will stick to your PC, even though you scanned 100's of times.
Best way is to format if you know you have virus problem.
Option 2:
Run Operation D
Auslogics Disk Defrag (http://www.auslogics.com/disk-defrag)
Its very safe, fast and efficient way to basically 're sort all the files on your HDD'
Its Cnet trusted, and on download.com

mhh yes what you have to be carefull for is that you dont enable the "startup when windows starts" function in the programms you have installed , thats usually why startup is so slow , you are starting up a lot of things you dont need to start yet (example you have a media player and this has mp3 plugins media plugins etc , they are started at windows start when you only need to start them when you OPEN a music file there ar more examples like contrioller software , lots of apple software (I tunes starts 4 or 5 processes including I pod software even if you dont have an I pod ) the list goes on and on and on
About the card hate to say it but ATI is known to have issues with some games and NVidia usually doesnt so for next time Nvidia ! But one thing though did you installl the correct driver , because gta should atleast run with updated drivers if it did on the old ones :trust:

run
msconfig
startup
disable all the crap you got.
it takes me 30 seconds to restart. :)
