Pokemon discussion topic

Who did play or still plays Pokemon? I know, i know, I'm old enough to say that pokemon is for kids and that everyone above 16 should not play it.
But, let's face it. Pokemon is a great RPG game series and Pokemon games are always good games, fun to play.

I have played all but I was a master on Pokemon Red(I had a red gameboy that matched perfectly with the game card).
Some time ago I downloaded VisualBoy advance and play some other Pokemon games(not to the end, I have more important stuff to do).

Well...If you're not old enough to watch porn, play a pokemon game. Not so entertaining but still a good way to spend free time ;)

I... did i played them all up to the newest ones.. but they got boring after overall an amazing 432 hours of game time (Could be more im not good at maths)

i bought Pokemon pearl about 2 months ago, i haven't played much but i intend to I LOVE THE GAMES AND IM 15, doesnt matter about age the games are very long and entertaining, raising stats to ur will and making them exactly how u want, its nothing like the TV series:P

The people in my class used to bring their pokemons and gameboys to school to sit in a corner and play all day.. Everybody but me played it.. I only had Woody Woodpecker Racing  :(

I have Emerald on my PSP. I deny that the savegame says I have spent over 30hours on it. Good game to take on holidays.  :redface:

on your psp? did u use that mod? iv seen it in beta b4 it was released :P, i was doing research on PSP modding and hacking and i found allot out there.

Yeah I used to have it on when I was running 1.50 and a ebooot loader. Now I have custom firmware 3.80 M33-2, which allows me to do anything a psp has ever allowed anyone to do.

And you must agree that it is a fairly good RPG.

Best game was Pokemon Gold/Silver limited edition on the Gameboy Colour. Hours of fun.
The TV series got too repetative.

"sigh" i downloaded the boy advance player and i played pokemon emerald :( i was bored ok! i downloaded a saved game all monsters were caught lvl 101 all shiny - shiny means they come in different colors exmaple : pikachu was gold , mewto was red , waubafet was pink balubarsore was purple etc..... shiny pokemon are 1 in 1824 chance. meaning you need to fight 1824 monsters to have a chance at catching a shiny. and having all of them is halarious! imagine the luck you need for a rare one... you need the odd luck of having it become shiny AND catching it as i know when we try to get rares we reset the gameboy many many many times :( - game got boring after i noticed i was the best player and all my friends could not beat me :(

i loved the rare pokemon sounds , until i grew up and learned the sounds were of japanese men swearing in their cuontry reversing it and lowering the pitch :(

It's so legal that there are sites for it.
It's not like I'm ripping a game, it's a gba file.

read copyright info about roms, u are not allowed to download them UNLESS u own the game, it is illegal END OFF. that rom can be copied to a GBA cartridge (seriously) and sold, there is loads of Pokemon games on ebay being sold like that and there accounts getting banned for it because its illegal, they are like ISO files from torrents of say a ps2 game, its illegal.
