Hyman's Organization,
Lawyer of Templeton Peck,
Civil Case
To: The Court of Law of Vice City
From: Templeton Peck's Lawyer
Statement by Mr. Templeton Peck:
"I honestly do not know where to start, since this situation has shook me. I mean, I've been scammed before, but not on such a major scale. After buying Hyman Stadium in downtown, I was on the edge of bankruptcy when I decided to sell my house off to compensate for the money required to run the stadium, since the house has such an iconic background and moreover, it's in Starfish Island, I didn't want to give it away for less money. After being offered 800,000$ by the other person, I decided to bargain with him and settled at 1,600,000$ and it was decided that he would transact the money to my bank account after I gave the keys to my property to him. Everything went smoothly until Mr. Kawtmoh decided to wire only 16,000$ and run away with the property in his name. "
Statement by Mr. Peck's Lawyer
"Your honor, my name is Lynch Fields, lawyer of Hyman's Organization, before I start, this transaction occurred without Mr. Peck, owner of Property #51, in Starfish Island, consulting my advise causing him to take hasty decisions, but anyways, to get on to the topic, this man took advantage of my client's need for money and scammed him off of the property he owned and decided to send out an advertisement saying that he would sell the property to those who are willing to pay him more money. Although we do not have any physical evidences of him throwing these advertisements out, we do have a contract signed by Mr. Kawtmoh, who agreed to transact an amount of 1,600,000$ to my client through the bank after the transaction. Instead this man has wired only 16,000$ and decided to keep the property for himself.
Even though there might be problems since the contract wasn't signed with the blessings of the Court of Law of Vice City, my client does have the signature of Mr. Kawtmoh on a piece of paper which states and I quote 'I, Kawtmoh, agree to transact 1,600,000$ to Templeton Peck's bank account after the transaction.'
There is also a witness, Mr. Rardodus Bruise, to the entire transaction, who I would like to have him give his testimony after the prosecution has given their demands and/or settlement."
