Okay so since few days I'm getting high ram usage which makes my pc damn slow, this can't play. Need a solution. Few days back my antivirus detected a trojan and disinfected it but couldn't disinfect one, so I'm not sure what is the real cause. Ram is 2.0GB. Need a solution 😲☹️

I am sure you got the trojan by downloading study material from unknown sites...Btw download the windows 7 lite edition and install it.. It uses only 5 or 600mb ram and rest of the ram will be free for your useless work :)

True. Nowadays anything below 8GB ram is considered low/bad.
I'd suggest looking into buying more ram, get atleast 8GB; shouldn't cost too much and its also pretty easy to install it into your computer.

okey bunny reinstall windows 7 then scan your pc then if nothing found and it still slow so its maybe ram proplem :gand:

2 gigs is low, but you can also check how it's being used in task manager.

After the OS allocates what it needs, if you have even 1 or 2 unwanted rogue software using up ram that leaves nothing for gaming. If its not too inconvenient do a fresh OS install, or buy some more ram. I'll mail you some.

2GB of ram? like including the GPU?
makes me feel so spoilt with my 30gb and 8gb GPU ram

I've got a PC running in the house with 2gb of ram, My advice to you is to upgrade, Opening a single internet tab will use a huge majority of your available memory, as for gaming it's nearly impossible with newer titles.

Buy a new antivirus, there are cheap ones such as ESET NOD32. Scan your PC, and when you play don't have programs running in the background. Such as steam,origin e.t.c. Or make sure you close your TABS in Chrome,Firefox or whatever you use. If this doesn't work then I would suggest you reinstall your windows saving stuff that you want on a USB and CLEAN EVERYTHING on your computer while resetting it.

Get more RAM. 2GB in 2019 is a bad idea. Chrome with several tabs alone will kill your PC.

Why using anti virus software in Windows 10? its just useless. Windows 10 got best anti virus system included alos safest OS

I'd always recommend using a decent AV, not just the integrated Windows one. It's the malware that doesn't make itself visible that's the most dangerous...

@melan Hit Windows + R (both at the same time) and type
msconfig navigate to the tab Startup and please give us a screenshot of that.
It should look something like this:

Secondly if you are on Windows 7, navigate to "My Computer" or if you are on Windows 10 then navigate to "This PC", Choose 'Local Disk C:" Hit right click and navigate to Properties. From there you will find a button named 'Disk Cleanup'.
It should look like this:

Once you run it, tick everything on the list and hit Ok.

Third and final step is to Defrag your C: Disk.
