Fishing
What ships can I use for fishing?
Reefer, Coast Guard, and a dinghy.
What conditions factor in to fish chances?
Location is the biggest factor, in addition, the type of vessel you are using, the time of day, and the weather.
How do time and weather impact the fish possibility?
Certain fish are more probable under certain time and weather conditions. This might be that some fish can only be located at a certain location and time/weather or simply that they are more probable.
Exactly how many fish are catchable?
There is expected future updates that'll add more, but currently 17. These are also fishes and other aquatic creatures that would be found in the real-world San Andreas area.
Are they all just fish?
No.
What is the lowest value of a single fish?
$1.
Highest value?
$3,000.
Is there a cost to entry to fishing?
As of now, no. However, a planned update will include some additions including purchasing equipment and bait. Additionally, upgrades to your vessel which can increase odds of certain fish.
Is the skill system tied into fishing?
Currently, no. However, I am looking into other ways to factor in skill.
Can promotional bonuses run on fishing rewards?
No, the Fishing Exporter is a temporary system until the Produce Market (formerly referred to as Agriculture Market) is released in a future update. The Produce Market will be based on a real-world influenced simulated market adjustment, the prices will fluctuate.

- Fixed an issue where you were given money equal to the number of fish sold and not the combined total value of those fish. You are now given the correct amount.

- Reduced the max randomly generated time for fishing, this should make it take a little less than usual to get a bite.

- Vehicle Discount Tickets now give a solid 40% discount on all vehicle purchases.
- Vehicle Vouchers now perform the same function as a Vehicle Certificate, providing a free vehicle valued at $85,000 or less.
