Why were color blips re-enabled?
That is exactly what the post says, no?

It doesn't really say why. I'm sure not just him and I are wondering why these changes and unless it's experimental, it wouldn't make sense.
I usually say good work when there are updates but there is nothing impressive here to be amazed of. So I wonder why the colors were changed and when will the actual more important community updates come out.

I asked why they were brought back, not if they were brought back.

Why were color blips re-enabled?
Apparently this was Andeey's decision.

Non color blips didn't hinder any gameplay or anything. They were just fine to keep

the white blip system was removed for various reasons the main one being.. There is no benefit from having all white blips, Criminals who "wont" evade as soon as they see blue can just assume that white is going to be a police man eventually after being rushed at a drug spot of approached while being suspected etc, And for those who are active to notice the white blips and the current script don't really match together with coloured jobs.(vice versa)

This doesn't mean blips will always be coloured again, How about we do something useful and make a decision based on the players thoughts?

We can either keep the blips white and have everyone on jobs pop up in chat as coloured or make the default job colour white and not be able to tell anyone apart unless found out in roleplay or by appearance(clothing)

Or we can go back to having coloured blips [Pink - Medic] [Red/darker red - fireman] [Blue/darker blue - Law] [yellow - Mechanic] [Green - Taxi Driver]

The map blips should be white, Tab and Chat should be colored for MetaGame reasons.

If you're going to remove colored blips, make everything white including tab. If you're going to keep the colors in tab and the spirit of Argonath, then keep everything.
I'd suggest we remove every blip on the map and make players find each other through roleplay, since this is a roleplay server but we all know old man Gandalf does not want (us) that anymore so my opinion won't ever be complete.

I wonder why the discussion wasn't brought up before this was forced out though...

I suggest it all should be white. Therefore, there will be more interaction between people. That's also why government agencies have uniforms and marked vehicles.

Tab color is hard linked to blip color in SAMP. AFAIK there's no way around it.

White blips should have been a thing when we had 150players online, not now. Everything is done at the wrong time, im glad it's reverted.

And removing blips is straight up cancer with 2 players, even with 50. just no.

Us, freecops AKA topkops, want to be light blue again. Thanks in advance.

+Hotfix

- Fixed an issue where you could open a Blackmarket case while already having a weapon in that slot. Due to the base game's mechanics, you cannot have two of the same type, resulting in not obtaining and losing the case. Refunds will be provided for those who can competently submit a report.

What the hell is workshop?
It means you need to have 5+ crafting tables in your property/business.
