Howdy ho! Many of you have asked for a publicly accessible panel. The old RS5 panel is still running, however doubts have always existed about possible security leaks inside it. Therefore, regular players were never granted access. That is about to change! Not with the existing panel, but with a brand new one.
Currently, a testing version is already live, however we need your input to complete the project. We have gone ahead and created a Trello Roadmap at https://trello.com/b/ubjpOsQd. Please feel free to check it out. Also, feel free to leave your input in this topic.
- What would you like to see on the panel?
- What pages should it contain?
- What functionality should it offer?
Once we reach a stage where we are confident it is complete enough, we will start the public testing phase. Everyone will be able to access the panel at that point. From there, we will continuously improve it.
Global roadmap
Phase 1 (current phase): Building minimum viable product (MVP) for a player-focussed panel (July 2019).
Phase 2: Release panel to public and continuously improve (End of july, beginning of August 2019).
Phase 3: Develop staff features (September 2019).
Phase 4: Fully replacing current panel (September 2019 and onwards).

I would really enjoy the ability to fully manage groups via the panel if you have access in said group, adding ranks, kicking members, adding members, etc...

The idea right now is to include group management to the maximum extent possible.
There is a bit of a technical challenge which lies in the fact that group data is loaded once into the server. Once a group changes in the database, the changes made will not fully reflect in the server until the data is properly reloaded. This is also the reason you cannot fully manage offline members from in-game.
Our first goal is to at least visualize the groups in the panel so you can see what's up. Once that's implemented, we will coordinate with the server dev team to implement full management.

Top 10 best player in Argonath, put me as number one

Something like this for the monthly activity or something would be nice.

Nice idea! The database hosts a wealth of stats. A stats page is certainly possible. Top weed farmers, top traffic tickets... the list goes on.
Will put it on the roadmap as soon as i’m home.

Editing /help
This is a staff feature on the current panel that will be ported to the new one in phase 3. Or do you mean something else?

I don't know how it works, I've only seen the panel Gimli made that had a /help editing function. But you could extend the feature to helpers and maybe players ( those capable and willing to edit ofc) too?

Helpers are actually able to edit /help (at least was when I was helper). I believe it should stay like that

From what I've seen edited and from what I've done myself, there are a couple of things missing. I don't know if you're able to create a page with links to other pages, like /help for example, preset color codes for important things like orange for notes and green for commands, setting a shortcut to a help page as well, like [/help car] would show the help page you linked it to. And I don't know what else can be edited in SA:MP, but I guess everything should be there
I'd like to see all properties owned, ability to sort/filter them too maybe.
Storage inside the properties you own/manage?
A player's phone number? At least my own phone number.
Get creative with it xD
Also if it's still based on Bootstrap, if you need any help with frontend, I can lend a hand.

Small update from the dev side of things.
I currently have a stable version of the panel beta running. In the meantime, I am moving into my new house and will be enjoying a week of added summer holidays. In the next week while chilling, I hope to get some more things done for the panel and possibly release a public beta.
Once the beta is out, I will gather initial feedback and continue building based off that feedback.

Awesome updates.
