Hello everyone!
During a small discussion with some member we got the idea since Las Venturas is pretty much a ghost town and see's no signs of improvement since RS4. To move one casino to Los Santos. It'll be owned by the state and shall be accessible by anyone to use. We chose to make it state ownership to not give the upper hand to any group and keep it fair all around. I've already got a great spot in mind and I think it would be a welcome addition.
Please voice any questions you may have!

Well, theres a typo on when you /use the poker tables in casinos. It says that it's illegal gambling and scams will not be refunded, when will this fix? Ik it has nothing to do with the topic but I'm curious. Inside casinos it says that it's illegal gambling and it would have been fixed months ago, but still not fixed.

Good question, but unrelated to the poll. None the less @Teddy do you perhaps have an answer on this? :)

move everything special in LV and SF into LS and delete the other areas

No, I appreciate groups like Gvardia that still roam around San Fierro.

Poll gave me the neccessary insight that I needed, will start a trial. Posting a picture of the location shortly.

what about the entry fee? on this casino
it must be 500$+
so the other casinos Owners still can Set an entry fee lower than that and got a chance
cuz everyone will only play there (at LS one)

I'm fine with this idea as a temporary measure. When (and if) player count starts jumping back up to previous numbers, we can think about expanding to other areas.

We appreciate that :)
Casino in LS.. sure. Make one in SF too then, please.

What do you not understand from 'state casino'?

This movement is done with the intention to give more things to do on the crowded zones, which is currently LS. However if doing this can bring more activity from your group or other who likes to roll in San Fierro, then we might try it out aswell.

The only thing that's going to bring is less business in LV, and we desperately need folks to start using their businesses more and more. But hey you know what, let's give two players who like to spend time one on one gambling it out a closer place to do just that.
How are you going to resolve the "no scamming" rule? If I remember correctly, you're only allowed to gamble in casinos in LV to be protected from "no scamming".
Plus how is putting player-run businesses out of business a good thing?

As I mentioned it will be a trial, it is good to try out new things. As for the scamming rule if I recall correctly it states that you may not scam in a Casino, and does not specify the where abouts since previously casino's could only be set in Las Venturas. If this isn't the case I'll revise the rule for this occasion.

State casino will be opening at 21:00 servertime which is in an hour, the location is the conference center.

You're still fucking up the casino owners whether you like it or not... I don't think it's a good move

Back in RS4 I recall casino's hiring dedicated dealers that would play at their casino's to attract activity, haven't seen any of the sorts recently but it sounds like a perfect solution :). As for the rest I'd like to keep this topic just as a announcement in regards to the implementation but if you have any serious concerns feel free to shoot me a forum pm.

Exactly. Don't see the state property as a disadvantage. Try to get a benefit or profit, however you like to see it through roleplay means. Nothing stops Gvardia from sending 4 Dragons croupiers to LS and charge a fee just like if it was from entering the ones at LV, this is the same to any other group or independent owner of a casino.
