We dont have a topic for Lord Of the Rings?!?
BTW...........Best movie ever for me...........It has the best Plot, the best Actors/Heroes......it has the best things in it .....Trolls/Orcs/Nazguls e.t.c
My Favorite Heroe is The Witch King..
...
So i made this topic to discuss about Lord oF the Rings......
My Rate to the movie is 11/10....I really Love the movie
-
10/10
Best movie in my life.
-
Best move i seen yet i think.. Saw it again for 1 week ago :)
-
What part? Fellowship of the ring,Two towers or The return of the king.Great movies but my favourite is second I like the battle at Helm's deep :hurray:
-
nah, battle of minastirith for me, when they break in then the horn of rohan blows, sends tingles down your back lol :D
-
Yea the 3rd part was the best for me but all are the bests
Break into minastirith was the best........It was amazing when they break the door and then suddenly no orc/coblins breaked in but Trolls!! It was amazing :)
-
it'S 5/10 for me, because i like the story, but I am not a fan of this type of fantasy. but the charackters are very good, Gandalf ftw :D (^^).
all over I like the work, but I#ve seen beter films ;)
-
LoL 5/10 on Lord of the rings?
Rofl man :(
-
Starwars pwns it...by 3 movies
-
The best movie for me might be the battle of helm's deep, but minas thirith is pretty nice too so I don´t know.
-
Starwars did not make any sense to me.
Too obvious storylines.
Does not express the feelings of characters well
while LOTR makes you feel like you are in the wars for real.
-
lol star wars is better than lord of the rings???? lol lotr got 11 oscars
-
definitely the best movie eva 12/10 ;) loved every character. the best part - legolas sliding down the stairs on his shield and shooting orcs lmao (two towers)
-
they are amazing, but i like King Kong just as much.
The moral of the story?
ANSWER: Peter Jackson owns as a director
-

star wars is legend :)
and king kong is excellent film, also godzilla :D
-
Yea Peter Jackson OWNS..........if Star wars is legend then what is lord of the rings?
btw i was playing the battle of the middle earth 2 :)
King Kong its a great film too :)
-
lotr is legendary too, just saying i also think star wars is :)
and yeh i play Battle for middle earth 2, i own at that game
-
Well.. It's some good movies allright.. Not some of my favourites tho
-
I have 5 Single words for you.
"GROND! GROND! GROND! GROND! GROND!"
Minas Tirith FTW!
Gotta love the grond part.
-
Fellowship of the Ring - Beginning of the story, I loved since they get to meet and fight together first. Balrog is cool.
Two Towers - Not good since I didnt like it much, Battle if Helmsdeep was kind of short battle.
Return of the King - Best part after the first, most battle is done in this third part of the movie. Rohan helps Minastirith and they all go fight against the Sauron eyeball, how cool is that. Also Frodo loses finger and Gollum dies. Best Part.
Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith is my favourite.
-
i sorta find the star wars trilogy depressing, in anakins perspective, cause a young promosing boy, who grows up to be a evil egg in the shell :(
-
For Meh,Harry Potter FTW !!!  i rate LOTR with 10/10.Very nice characters, great effects,Zounds of money thrown on it ;)
-TheLegend
-
Hha just saw LOTR about the 2 towers :) It was great !!!
-
i sorta find the star wars trilogy depressing, in anakins perspective, cause a young promosing boy, who grows up to be a evil egg in the shell :(
Thats why Revenge of the sith it's such a great movie.
You can realize the inner fight between good and evil going on anakin's head.
-
yeah :D what makes it such a good trilogy :)
-
yeah :D what makes it such a good trilogy :)
And Hayden Christensen had such a great performance as actor.
LOTR is very good is technical stuff like OST, scenarios. But that all thanks to the director. That what give them the oscars.
But SW, SW created some whole new world. There are hundreds of books about SW. 6 movies. through 4 decades.
Not to mention that Lucas was the father of master effects.
-
I think people wants more Orcs/Trolls/Nazgulls/Swords/Ancient,Mythic times instead of New ages
^My Opinion
-
star isnt new ages, its set a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away :D
-
Well i dont like Star wars cause has this weapons/machines..........i dont like this type...................LOTR with swords/armor.....trolls....e.t.c its a eay better.......
-
well thats your opinion, well lets move on from this, what about spiderman? :)
-
lol drib....its a Lord of the rings topic...not Star wars,spiderman,batman,noman .e.t.c.
btw Spiderman its really cool.....3 is the best
-
i like in lord of the ring, the ura-kai, you know the crazy one on top of the ladders in battle of helms deep :D nutters! xD
-
I so like this movie ! Watching all 3 in row is the best thing ever and seriously all the characters rocks ! By the way, Arwen is cutter than Eowyn and Eowyn is cutter than Galadriel
LOL LOL
-
Spiderman 3 is not good :( I prefer Spiderman 1 <3!
-
I don't really like that kind of movies.
-
Spiderman 3 is not good :( I prefer Spiderman 1 <3!
Nah,i think spiderman 3 is better,it has stronger enemys, more fight and the ned was really good :)
-
I just love the intensity of all the battles in LOTR, they are all so big and destructive, really gets you in the fighting mood :D
-
Yea thats why is so great, all battles are great.
BTW anyone knows that The Hobit is coming out on movie? :)
-
Yes http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903624/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0903624/)
Coming out in 2010 :(
-
I heard that there will be a The Hobit 2 too that connect to The Lord of the Rings too....
I think the director is Peter Jackson again.......if its true then the Movie will PWN
-
LOTR with "Goblin" translation is good...
-
I like the first one, but the second one seemed to much to set up the third, which I didn't like.
I wouldn't watch them again.
And Star Wars is better. :D
-

Yeah Star Wars is good. :D
I like weird movies with lots of action in them like Crank, Death Sentance, The Transporter 1 & 2...etc...
-
I find it physically impossible to comprehend Star Wars as not a classic, that outrates LOTR.
And I'm not even a real fan :conf:
-
I don't like watching ANY movie whatsoever, dont ask me why :conf:
-
so what, oscars smoshkers, Star Wars FTW! and better story? i think not

Narnia books pawn the film (soon to be films)
Dude, you can't say one Narnia is better then the other. All Narnias are GOD and everyone who's ever watched the movie or read the books knows it.
About Lords of the Rings, the movie sucks ass - It's like watching one of those movies where you see a tomato rot. but instead of speeding it up, you slow it down. I mean yeah, the tomato (movie) is great the first time you see it, but watch it again and get ready for a sudden increase of mass in the puke bucket. Not to mention there being what, three movies? OMG. I was about to commit suicide once finished those 9 hours of mental doom.
Once done I went to the crappers and read the newspaper and realized what a complete moron I was watching lotr when I could have well spent those hours reading about Britney spears shaving her hair of and getting a tattoo.
But really, lotr is a must see movie, ONCE. Don't watch it more then one time cause it'll slowly eat your sexual lust inside and out. and do NOT attempt going on some kind of marathon with the ol' chaps cause that'll just lead to one of you screaming: GRUUUAAGGHH, whilst the other two are attempting to banish the invisible demon blocking the TV.
-
Dude Narnia was a kids movie, if you read the book youd know!
About lord of the rings : best movie i ever saw , i would kill myself if i stop watching it twice a weekend!
i agree
