I actually tried using SAMP client on this version of legal GTA, yet I never made it connect. Everytime I tried it started single player, not sure if it's only me however..

Wouldn't a downgrader help to make it work? Like the 1.1 Version?

I'm not sure if it is a PC port of mobile version. I uninstalled the rockstars games launcher and replaced gta-sa.exe now singleplayer and SA:MP both work fine for me.
