Title: GTA Sound Issues
Post by: schfifty on February 19, 2008, 08:01:13 am
OK, I will be playing in GTA then all of a sudden a rain storm hits and somehow after a thunder crash, my sound screws up and all my sounds are either gone or different...like gun shots sounding hollow...not being able to hear nething in cars except for the radio etc...I usually have to restart the game...this even happens online...ne1 else experienced or fixed this before?

Yep it's your soundcard.
I had a realtek one, and had these problems. Then i got Creative X-fi Fidelity. No problem anymore.

I think it IS probably the soundcard...effing Realtek...well I guess I would rather deal with it then cough up $50 for a different one.
