Title: Battlefield 2 problem.
Post by: Cross on February 19, 2008, 01:40:11 pm
First, i click on my account, and trying to go online, but i need to wait 15min before it connects to the main account server!
Then, when i finaly got a match, its lags like big shit, and i put all the grafix on low.
Am playing with a ATI Radeon 9800pro, installed it with the instal disk and shit, so it can't be the grafix card.
Geez what can i do about it?

Official disk or some illegal download? And if you copied it from someone else, only one of you can play at a time then...

you seem to be having a lot of problems Since you installed your new Video card. So first try to update your display (video) driver and your direct x thats always the first step ..

But it seems the problem you have is network related ..What kind of connection do you have? and at what option do you have your network settings in the BF2 options menu ?It could be you have a slow connection or your settings are at a higher speed then you actually have

Oh one more thing do you have a firewall running ? It could be that it is using up a lot of resources or that it is blocking.

Well i even putted my firewall off.
I think your right about the grafix card, but i can't instal the newest drivers sinds it keeps saying i already got a older version of it on my computer, but i dont

Are you using Vista or XP?
Cause I have a copy of XP Professional here, I can upload it so you can download it and reinstall your PC. Thats the only solution I see.
Btw, this message will be removed soon because posting stuff like this isnt allowed :D
I hope you can read it on time ;)
