Title: Argonath website works
Post by: Aragorn on February 19, 2008, 01:58:03 pm
Today the Argonath website will be closed on 1-2 hours...
The reason is - changing the look of web site and close work with the contents...

We hope you will be patient until it will not be opened again and awarded by better quality of Argonath portal design....

ok, I have some problems with new page.
1. when I want to comment, it says always: "Wrong security code."
2. is the page optimized for firexfox? Because I am using IE :/
3. I have a 1600x1200 solution and would be delighted if you can fix the background a bit :/

but ok, I can understand it, if you don't want to do this for one user. But when somebody enter the page and see what I see :// you can't really see where what is.
sry to say this. I know you have worked for this site a long time maybe, but to get this site perfect, just fix it for me :)

The desing is not finished yet... Actually we did not want to upload it today... but during integration from test site we had to change positions of modules which are very different from old style... So we had to public the new design...

We are currently working on bugs and contents building...
Also we are informed about IE problems...
While its not fixed - all I can suggest - watch it in Firefox...
We'll fix it as soon as possible...

2. is the page optimized for firexfox? Because I am using IE :/

Its ok in IE, at least we tried different resolutions with IE...

3. I have a 1600x1200 solution and would be delighted if you can fix the background a bit :/

Send me a screenshot to see how it looks for you...

Same for me.
Plus you still ain't got a VC:MP section. This just shows how some argo servers are more supported by administration then others. very sad... :(

Stop accuse administration in personal likes and dislikes to servers...
VC:MP has no section as I was told by its developers - it will be stopped from developing...

I didn't mention personal likes and dislikes. But administration could support it a bit more.
There are almost the same player number as MTA:VC.

We do support all projects we are running...
But if developers of VC:MP considered the project should be stopped - I do not force them to work for it...

And I do not like those kind of people, who are spitting on all our work and only try to find some reasons for fake accusations...

You know I ain't like that. If something is good, I completely support it. And don't forget that I also worked on developing VC:MP.
I know all players never complain on bad stuff. But I'm not like that. If something isn't well, why to pretend it's all fine and leave it crappy?
It's called constructive criticism.

Last but not least. If you think that I find all argo stuff I big shit. Why would I still be here?

We try to support all servers equally. But for VC:MP we have 2 problems.
First is that there is no statistic on players, so we can not see how many players there are average playing.
Second the developers have frozen development as they wait for the new version.

If we see that the server is alive, we will try to give it more attention.
As nobody is complaining on the Stunt and Movie server :)

Thank you for the answer gandalf.
With Aragorn answer I though admin was told about something I had no knowledge of.
Now I know what he meant. Yes VC:MP his at hold until the pwn0 version(hope its pawn) comes out.
But it is still a server and the current version is fully complete as far as I know.

Why isn't there a game monitor thingy for VCMP server?

Once I talked to Mex about making some stunt server scripts but it was a stupid idea cause argo is rpg not stunt and server is a bit crappy and empty.

Please note that this map is not yet completed and allot of features will be added within the next days.

The Internet Explorer 7 version is currently buggy, works good in Firefox. This will be fixed.

This will be a feature that will be added in the near future.

The map-disappearance while the locations are updated will be fixed soon. The whole map is still in the works, that means it is still bugged in allot of points. The final version will be released soon.

daniel did you actually make this :O
