Title: Infinite Loading Screen & Steam A/C

Hope you all are fine & doing well.. I have decided to join Argonath's V:MP server but since from last 3 to 4 days i have been facing a problem and that is whenever i try to connect Argonath's V:MP server through Rage MP it keeps on loading and takes me to my steam account in GTA 5 section. Keep this thing in mind that i have GTA V in my Epic games library not in steam account. I will be grateful if you would help me out in solving this problem. My younger brother owns a steam version of gta 5 and he has already installed that game in our computer whereas i got gta 5 from Epic game store for free.. So i though that instead of downloading the complete game again, i just installed Rage MP and changed the location of directory to steam version of gta 5..I hope now you have gotten my point :)
Your assistance regarding this matter will be highly appreciated ;)

I have told you that i have installed the steam version of gta 5 and i have given Rage MP the directory of that game but the problem is that whenever i try to connect with Argonath's V:MP server it takes me to steam app in gta 5 section however i have gta 5 in my epic games library..

Use the version of your brother, u will not mess his files, he will not get banned from gta:o . Just use his version.

You have 2 directory of gta 5 ? is it so? I suggested u to use the steam one

If u Mean that u dont have 2 gta directory but u have only a steam directory and a game in epic launcher library Then u cant use that from epic. U should install that. u cant use epic from steam directory

U wasnt so clear in this point , i thought you have the epic version too.

So now the problem that you are facing is that nothing happens when u launch ragemp.
First of all make sure that ragemp in is C drive ! and atleast play gta5 10 minutes and do a savegame
1.Check on task manager if gtalaucher.exe(or gta5.exe) is open -if yes go on point 2
-if not , recheck ragemp directory option(screen that pls),try to run ragemp when steam is on/off(try both).
2.Reinstall ragemp client. make sure that ragemp in is C drive !
3.delete any mods or better verify the directory files(youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pZX6YWH4XQ))
if u have those files in directory delete them dxgi.dll, Sweet.fx or ReShade.fx ,SweetFX folder
4. U have to reinstall all :)(happy redownload)

How would i download a 90gb game using 1mb internet? It would take at least an eternity to download gta 5 from my internet...The thing which i have understood is that as i have installed steam version therefore Rage MP takes me to steam client in order to check whether i have a gta 5 in my steam library or not in other words it just checks the integrity of game however it does not find gta 5 in my steam library therefore an infinite loading screen in Rage MP appears when i try to connect with Argonath's server.. what i have concluded is that the only solution to solve this problem is that i would have to download a complete game from epic launcher which is obviously impossible by using this crappy internet🥵
I don't think i would ever be able to join Argonath's V MP😭

-Make sure your antivirus doesn't delete or block your RageMP files, if so, make an exception to allow it.
-Make sure your firewall permissions allows the client to run in private or public connections.
-Make sure of your internet speed is reliable for the client to run and launch.
-Re-install RageMP by going to Ragemp directory, select all files except the updater, delete them and run the updater as administrator.
-Make sure your game runs smoothly in single player.
-if you got the game files but not installed, or you purchased the game from epic and want it to recognize the old files you got which you downloaded from other sources, see this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf_vQfk3NYo) or search for one you can understand better in avoiding to download 90 GBs.
-Try to run a check on your windows updates and drivers.
-Restart after major changes, to take effect.
Note: Most of what i said, is my normal routine when i face a problem with the game or client.

I would also like to thank Semirak who has been helping me out straight from 2 days.. In case if any of the solution won't work then i would consider the option of getting help from Semirak through TeamViewer.. I will let you know guys after 4 or probably 5 days because now a days i having my online exams & i am little busy..Thanks to both of you for your time and help ❤️❤️👍👍
