Title: [SA:MP] What do you want to do in the server?
Post by: Sinister on June 25, 2020, 11:11:43 pm
Hello all, I'll make this short and simple. This topic is targeted to everyone who are still interested in SAMP and would consider on returning in the near future or currently still playing in this server. This is not a topic requested by HQ or such, this is basically on my own opinion.

As Manager [R*]Kjones and the development team has been intensely putting a lot of work and dedication in the "revamping" of the server and "granting" most of the features that most of us have requested for from about a year ago or so. Hence this topic will be targetted at "What do you want/wish to do in the server, or how can the server be improved so that you will not be bored of it." - Feel free to comment below on your thoughts about this topic. As it takes both hands to clap, I believe that to revive SAMP it's not only dependant on the server developers but it's more of a community effort.
Some of you used to say, Argonath is never listening to their players, but times have changed. Argonath is listening & taking in feedbacks from the player's, so why not give it a shot? There's no harm/cost trying/posting a reply.

Side note: I know that this type of topics has been brought up before a few couple of times, I do not really need negative replies from you. Yes I understand that there's newer games nowadays like V:MP and such while SAMP is an old game from the 2000's. There are still a handful of us which are still trying to "save" the server. SAMP is my childhood game and most of us played it throughout when we was still 13/14 years old.
So why not give other's/new players a chance to experience what we experienced during the times where we all enjoyed in the server such as Rs4 and early-mid of Rs5.

I personally apologise if this message had offended you

For example, If you wish to hunt animals in game as a job, Feel free to comment it. It might be a suggestion to the developers.

(@KJones I'm not making your life hard, but i think it'll be nice if we could /discuss)

Tbh this would be epic now with the virus. Hunt for our own food or something.

For the other part, I just want to have fun and roleplay, I am too braindead to come up with roleplay situations myself but if someone said "come rp this" I'd probably do it.

I personally apologize if anyone finds offense in this.

I'm sure we can go 7 pages long in 48 hours if we all started writing what we think is wrong with the server but really just look at old topics, the ones that go more than 3 pages are usually juicy, you might even get a laugh from it. We talked, we were listened to, then we repeated and repeated eventually we all left and now all of a sudden we don't have any interest in games like SAMP or <some excuse by some guy that randomly happened to check the current "addressing the issues" topic and feels like replying>

You’re not even active, why are you talking about it?

Instead of talking about possible improvements, I would suggest everyone go to the server. How so? Due to the fact that we moved to Fort Carson and KJones did a really great job, the atmosphere has really turned positive.

So don't talk long, but go to the server and play  :gand: ;)

Come online and have options for character.

Loosen restrictions on group hopping. FLA, Military, FBI, SAPD, etc. Are time consuming to join. I think people want to move around - let them, but provide support for all of them equally. Let criminals have their own system just like law enforcement does. Give them a structure, or a "group leader" admin that will provide guidance and leadership. :janek:
P.S
I'm glad that Khm is being strict on holding properties - I lost mine with a ton of stuff inside them but at least I'm not preventing someone else from using them.
