(https://i.imgur.com/OJbA4sQ.png) | Type: Time Trial Vehicle: Bloodring Banger ( Glendale ) Prize: $20,000 Available from: 19-Apr-2021 - 03-May-2021 The Bloodring Glendale is the cool, tuned brother of the characteristically slow Glendale. This is a car designed for Demolition Derbys, but what happens when you take this ramming machine on the road? Specifically, through the narrow alleyways spanning Washington and Ocean Beach? Starting at Standing Hotel, your goal is to make your way through the alleyways and finish close to the Pole Position Club ( The track begins and ends at a palm tree ). This will take your driving skills to the limit, as the Bloodring is characteristically allergic to sidewalks. Knowing what angle to take the sidewalk at, when to let off the gas and when to brake will be vital in your run. Or, of course, you can always take the wooden pallet jumps if you are feeling like a daredevil. For the duration of this challenge, a Bloodring Banger will be parked near Standing Hotel, so feel free to do as many practice runs as you want. Contact me in-game or on Discord if you would like to attempt an official run. |
This looks like a copy of the VC rally by Aky. Good luck with it though.
Will you be recording every run?
If the event staff cancel a scheduled run and for that you miss the deadline, will you then be denied a chance to participate?

(https://i.imgur.com/6C1XiGF.png) | Type: Delivery Vehicle: Mesa Grande Time limit: 01:40.00 Prize: $20,000 Available from: 04-May-2021 - 31-Jul-2021 Prepare to roam around (and over) Downtown, as in the next challenge, you will be driving the Mesa Grande, an off-roader with a very bouncy suspension. This means that you might end up rolling your vehicle a couple of times, but the Mesa Grande is painfully easy to recover from a flip. Starting at the Downtown Skyscraper near the PD, make your way around Downtown by first executing a jump towards the same building that the Skumole Shack is situated on, then jump off and go around the Courthouse, through the parking lot behind it, turning right and making your way to the main road, where you turn left. Follow the road until you reach Jocksports, then carefully navigate your way through Chinatown (we suggest utmost caution here). Once out of Chinatown, head towards Hyman Stadium and then follow the dirt road near the fishing tent. You should eventually reach a bumpy dirt track (you might know this one from the Cherry Poppers Motorcross event). Avoid it completely and instead turn a sharp right, then keep going until you reach the main road. Head through the narrow alleyway to your right and make your way around the parking lot below you until you end up in the parking lot behind V.A.J Finance. Keep going forward and over the bumps until you enter a narrow off-road alleyway ending with a set of stairs. Take the jump and do your best to land on your wheels. Your run is considered complete if you finish with a time under 01:40.00, with your vehicle intact. The timer stops once all of your four wheels are touching the ground. Remember that this is a Delivery: this means that your remaining car HP is the deciding factor here. The higher the car HP, the better. |
What I was wondering is if there is any rule regarding following the dirt track from stadium, past the dock to the other dirt track used in the CPME?
What did you like/dislike about the first challenge? Would you be willing to participate in challenge #2? If not, what are the reasons?I liked the simplicity of the first challenge. I won't be participating in the second as I feel the new track doesn't follow the same principles as the first. It's too long and reminds me more of the VC rally. It also involves so many stunts I feel like its more suited to stuntmen at Prawn Island film studio rather than a two-time FTSR champion racer like myself.

I don't need excuses for anything. Prevent losing? I have nothing to prove. I'm the current Going Challenge gold medalist, and two time FTSR champion. I'm an avid racer, but I draw the line at jumping across highrise buildings and driving through pedestrian walkways like Chinatown. It's reckless by Going setting up something like this. What did you like/dislike about the first challenge? Would you be willing to participate in challenge #2? All I see is excuses from your end to prevent losing. What happened to challenging yourself outside of your comfort zone to try and improve in every aspect of racing. Come on man.

(https://i.imgur.com/BEsSRHb.png) | Type: Time Trial Vehicle: Infernus Prize: $30,000 Available from: 01-Aug-2021 - 29-Aug-2021 In this challenge, you will be driving an exotic beast - the Infernus - through the slums of Little Haiti and the off-road inbetween Little Havana and Escobar International Airport. This Italian classic packs a lot of raw power, but how good are you at handling raw power? Starting at a questionable graffiti near Little Haiti's shack area, make your way south along the off-road alleyway. You can either take the jump on the wooden ramp or skirt around it, but be warned - the jump is extremely risky, as you might end up hitting a wooden pole or on the roof of a shack. Next, follow the road south. After passing the T junction and the second wooden pole following it, make a sharp turn right and follow the narrow alleyway that leads to Printworks. Drive through Printworks' building tunnel then follow the narrow alleyway slightly to the left of you ( watch out for the wooden pole in the way! ). Cross the road to the other side, through the alleyway, then make a sharp turn left. Follow the dirt mound in front of you and go through the area littered with billboards and palm trees. Once you pass the second to last palm tree, your run is finished. This track is shorter than the norm, but don't let that fool you - you will need to give it your all to score a competitive time. |
Kessu snatches the title away on his third run with an incredible run that blows the competition away! Congratulations!I should also win style points for doing a frontflip :lol:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jt1a0jbCpl0

(https://i.imgur.com/mrHIyjM.png) | Type: Time Trial Vehicle: Washington Prize: $20,000 Available from: 23-Oct-2021 - 6-Nov-2021 This challenge will be all about handling and control. You will be driving the Washington, a bulky and elegant 4-door with a unique characteristic which I like to call the "Magnet Wheels Syndrome". See the demo to understand why. Pick up the designated white Washington from the stairs neighboured by a state-owned red Idaho in Downtown, close to the fishing tent. You will want to drive off and get yourself on the dirt road near Hyman Stadium as soon as possible. Follow the dirt road (you can cut the road on grass, I do not mind) until you get on grass and the dirt racing track appears in front of you. Here, you can choose to either go around it or drive straight over it. After getting over the dirt track, you will be driving on grass again. Keep following the wall to your left until you are under the bridge connecting Prawn Island and Downtown. Then, get off the grass and back on the road and then taking a left. The challenge is over once you pass the blue traffic sign near the stairs. Good luck! |

(https://i.imgur.com/VGZTrav.png) | Type: Time Trial Vehicle: Stallion Prize: $30,000 Available from: 19-Jan-2023 - 12-May-2023 If slide machines and tricky off-road tracks are your thing, you will feel right at home. This track will test your pathfinding and control skills. You will be driving the Stallion, a rear-wheel drive powersliding machine that requires no small amount of finesse to keep from spinning out of control. Combine that with the narrow and bumpy paths of the Leaf Links golf course and you're in for a real difficulty spike compared to the previous track. Why pathfinding skills in particular? This track features a grand total of two checkpoints, not including the finish line. This will test your skill at finding your way on the golf course, dodging all the puddles and palm trees, navigating through narrow stretches of road, and - I cannot stress this enough - bumps in the road that will send your car upside down. For those with the necessary skill, you will find it possible to make the track feel quite fluid. For the others... good luck. Tip for the end section: Follow the golf flags! |
