Title: [SA:MP] The San Fierro Movement
Post by: Kowalski. on October 20, 2021, 01:44:00 pm
The San Fierro Movement
By Mike, Terro, Amelia & Gruia

What is the San Fierro Movement?
An initiative by Mike, Terro, Amelia and Gruia when the player base on SA:MP was hitting rock bottom. The small area of Fort Carson simply flamed out for the four, and started a movement to the City of San Fierro. The fellow initiative coordinators began understanding community interests, and initiated the movement of groups to San Fierro, as well as reaching out to players. Now, players and groups have moved to San Fierro, to start a new refreshing chapter in Argonath!

Which groups are involved in the San Fierro movement?
- The Collin Family
- Continental
- ATC
- SanTV
- SFDS

The Council of San Fierro:

The Council of San Fierro is a collective leadership of the SF community. A non-state official capacity running the municipal area and community, organizing council events and keeping the community going. Funded by their own funds and generous donations of the community, the goal is to sustain a community spirit.

The Council of San Fierro is spearheaded by President Councilman Gruia Collin.

President Councilman Gruia Collin runs the council.

Local Council Leadership consists only of Councilman Edward Wilson at this time.

Elections for local members of council will be opened if/when the community is in good standing.

Retired Members of Council:
Amelia Hernandez - Local Leadership
Mike Collin - Local Leadership

This council is not a government body, and there is no mandate forcing anyone to join. The council simply looks to run a community within San Fierro and wishes to expand its events, including fundraisers, community events and other interactive initiatives for the people. Acknowledging and working with the Council of San Fierro is completely optional.

I do appreciate the idea as it's not much different from what I proposed couple of months ago. Although I feel like a 'town' seems more fitting. Whatever.

III. Regional variety:

Yes, this one's coming from a 'Fort Carson' mayor candidate. Do not get me wrong, the idea of bringing the rather small society together to a certain town is indeed very effective. Cities like LS, LV, SF are overdone and pretty much do not currently fit our playercount standards.

.. but why strictly Fort Carson? Or any other town for that matter? There's towns like Las Barrancas, Bayside, Palomino Creek, Blueberry, Angel Pine.. all being wasted in a wider SA map. Police Departments are present to most of the towns and even if they are not, there's always an additional mapping possibility.

We do not have to necessarily move regions every other month, but we can definitely have a twist of scenery say once or twice a year.
Players should have the right to vote for their desired town/place and pretty much have the server offer location variety all in the name of keeping things interesting by having to move to a brand new playground.

This addition could also offer a larger boost to new mayoral/elections possibilities for people who really want to run for mayors of the town of their personal liking, and motivate said candidates further to have a higher chance in winning the elections.

Having to constantly play on a certain location becomes rather boring after a while, and I can see what you guys are trying to do.

Best of luck with this and kudos for taking the time to promote different places around the map, I feel the server desperately needs it.
