the main difference is the ram, normally 16 gb is hard to fill at 100 % but 8 gb at hight details is not good, you may have lag spikes
-
i have a 512gb ssd and i had problems managing my storage and decided to go for an upgrade and add another ssd. I recommend you go with 1tb if you can. 16gb is also handy, I usually use over 50% of those with uni work, projects. Take in mind the quality of the build aswell.

Well, I understand the lower GB issue, however I've dealt with a laptop containing about 300GB HDD. I suppose 512 gb would be fine, but if needed, I'd upgrade ofc. Maybe 16gb ram as well, however this is in my budget for now, so I guess you'd prefer me to get the Gigabyte one, also considering the fact that it's a giant company.
-
I am not saying you should go with A or B. I am just talking about the issues I have so you might consider them when you make your choice. At the end of the day, it's your money, you do whatever you think it's right.

I understand, and taking into account of what you said, I feel like gigabyte being a giant company makes really good gaming products & higher ram as I too use a 16GB laptop atm, and I can say that’s not enough so I wouldn’t go with the 8GB one. Thank you!

I'd go Gigabyte for the quality they offer. Currently using my 2nd PC with primarily Gigabyte hardware and it's a gem. Not sure why you'd go for high end laptop though, you'd be able to get a better desktop setup for these prices. Since you already have a laptop that is. Also review their offers, I'd avoid Win11 for the time being until it's the only alternative.

Tbh, Win 11 is fine. I prefer having a high-end laptop because I travel a lot, and I can't take my PC with me, if I got a PC. I already have a laptop, but I'm going to sell this one, and purchase the other. While this one's good, I want a high-end one which can help me play a few games as well. Plus, I need to upgrade.

Straight up, you're asking in the wrong place.
Go to a tech focused forum or even your local actual IT store and ask for advice in person.

I would be careful about going to chain places or even smaller businesses. It's all about trust since I know of alot of places that try to upsell you and may sell you something more than what you need. Read reviews and make sure you can trust a place before going. Though I would say an i5 / Ryzen 5, 16 GBs of memory, and 512 GB /1 TB SSD would be the minimum for a computer nowadays. GPUs I'm not too sure about.

Well, RTX 3050 is one of the best, perhaps in top 10 GPU's so that's fine.

I second Badandy. I saw them recommend absolute garbage not worth the money just to sell something more than once. They don't care about giving you the best product. They only care to sell for as much as possible.
A tech focused forum would probably be your best bet. I would perhaps ask in some tech oriented subreddits instead.

Don't buy crap from Amazon, you never know what you get. Should be illegal to buy anything from there.

I did a lot of research before I got mine, I landed on:
Lenovo 5i
Came with:
i7 11th gen
16gb RAM
3070 RTX
Got it for around $1,500 I think.
Battery is a little shitty, but aside from that, it's the best laptop I've owned.

I’ll look into that
