With a new month, a new corner is turned...

Hey, everyone!

We just want to thank the players of Argonath for tagging along on our III:MP journey. It's been great having you guys alongside, and we appreciate your patience as we work on the III:MP server.

We still have some ways to go. Don't get me wrong. However, we've turned a corner and we're really making progress.

This is why III:MP Lead Developer Diego Starm and I have a very special announcement for this new month.

On the ~~28th~~ 2nd of July, we'll be releasing III:MP's Open Beta Phase 1! This means we'll be opening up the server to the players to come to see what we've got so far, and how it's all coming along! After all, we're a community. Makes sense to bring you guys along for the ride. We also feel that y'all can help us with more relevant feedback by playing the server and experiencing the scripts for yourself.

We've got plenty in the works. Argonath wiki pages are being created as we speak, and we're getting things ready. Web panel's in the works too, and yes, you'll get access to it too as part of the open beta! We're getting ideas and structure for factions ready, we're evaluating how various things will work, and of course, by releasing this open beta, we'll get an idea of what you guys think as well. UI integrations are also in the works, this is a client-side thing we're waiting on, but it's getting there.

We're happy we're now bringing you guys in, getting the ball rolling again and working together as a community because that's what we're about.

For the record, we're still not at the point of a full release just yet. However, we feel bringing you along for the ride will only help us more, and we believe it embodies what the community is about. Expect some incomplete features as well, but know it's all being worked on, and of course, feel free to make suggestions.

We appreciate the patience y'all have shown, and thank you for coming along on this ride with us, we look forward to having you guys on board.

For the moment, indefinitely. After we roll out, come on at any time and check it out! After that, when we're into Phase 2, you'll get to experience the new features and fixes, then Phase 3, so on, whatever, until final release!

This is how we're bringing the community along for the ride, you'll get to be a part of it with us :)

As per a poll on the III:MP Discord, players voted to either keep the release date on Tuesday the 28th or to move it to Saturday the 2nd of July, for us to get a bit more done and more player availability and activity.

The players voted 9-1 in favor of Saturday 2, and as such, that is the new release date.

We're pleased to announce the launch of Argonath RPG III:MP Phase 1! We've had some unprecedented occurrences along the way that have been a bit of a deterrence, so the server is still more of an alpha than a beta at this stage.

However, we remain committed to bringing you guys on board, so today's launch is going ahead as planned! It'll be good to get your feedback and maybe you guys can observe some bugs we haven't yet come across! Please note that the server may still be somewhat buggy and you may come across some minor issues, but this is to be expected, as we remain in Phase 1.

We will provide minor fixes, convenience updates and other such improvements during Phase 1 as it will remain open indefinitely as per our announcement, so more testing and work can be done, including with the help of you guys in the community, however the major overhauls, progression and other larger updates will come with Phase 2. We will keep you updated on our progress as well as continue to provide leaks.

As a disclaimer, the GTA: Connected server has not yet been tested with a large number of players, however, we are aware it tends to be somewhat problematic. So, with that said, please note there may be certain issues which we will address as well.

We will continue to patch these and development is back on track, so we look forward to having you.

That being said, Phase 1 is officially launched and the team wishes you a very warm welcome to the Argonath RPG III:MP server!
