Two Gun Stores Are Pulling Numbers!
Vice City has recently seen the opening and re-opening of two new Ammunation stores, which sell all sorts of firearms, big and small, they are located pretty much as far away from each other as possible, and are working hard on claiming the local clientele to themselves.
Our own Kenzie Bridges went out to interview both of them and ask some questions to see how they're different, or similar to each other, read ahead to learn more and maybe go and grab some protection from one, or both of them after.
The first Ammunation store we visited is the one located in the beautiful Ocean Beach, where we met the store manager standing behind the counter, who spoke to us.
When we asked him what brought them to restart the business and start pushing sales, he explained to us that he used to own a different Ammunation store which got expropriated by the government, saying "goons came over and closed it down" and he didn't have any chance to salvage the equipment inside, expanding about power abuse coming from the state, which concerned both him and the OB branch owner. They're mission now is to sell personal protection in their independent Ammunation store, which aims to be a place where the citizens of Vice City can feel safe, and where the prices are made sure to be kept fair so everyone can own a little bit of personal freedom.
Regarding the prices, the manager stated they are hard to be kept as low as they are, saying the store even takes a loss with some purchases, but doing so knowing that the cause is right and true, yet staying afloat thanks to good patronage.

Our next stop was of course the Ammunation branch located in the Downtown area of Vice City, where we met and talked to the store's owner and manager, Kimberly, who recently bought the store from the state's auction house for a whopping $1,000,000 ARD!
The store also boasts it's low prices on its product, which means it makes minimal profit, but Kimberly said that its fine by her as she is just happy to meet and interact with new people. Which expanded upon, the people who visit her store are mainly average joes looking to protect their families, due to the recent unfortunate rise in crime rates. She did say however that she had to experience some lowlifes recently who barged into the store and initiated a shootout, which was dealt with thanks to a very brave costumer, thankfully. But also, Kimberly is trained with firearms herself, which she trains with in the store's very unique feature - a built in gun range!

Seems like now might be the best time to arm yourselves with some personal protection, both thanks to the very low prices offered at these stores, and unfortunately also due to some recent rise in crime rates.

VCPD And FBI Officials Knocked Down Peg!
Several officials, high ranking members among them in the VCPD and FBI have been reprimanded and demoted due to a complaint made by a civilian due to negligence.
On the 26th of August, an official complaint has been made after a civilian has been arrested at her business, after they had to use self defense when a madman came in and started shooting, even hitting the civilian.
Right after the exchange, 9-1-1 has been immediately called to the scene by the person who posted the aforementioned civilian who protected the business, hoping to get police to the area, and an ambulance to tend to their wound.
What followed is definitely something the civilian was not expecting - they were put through a series of negligent actions by a (then) VCPD Sergeant and a (then) FBI Special Agent, as they were apparently in a rush to arrest the person instead of investigating and even providing medical care to their obvious wound due to being shot.
Thankfully, while the untreated, wounded individual was being interrogated, VCPD Captain Arthur "Nylez" Williams, joined by a medic shortly after to provide the much needed urgent first care, taking over the investigation which was mishandled until that point, in an attempt to salvage this unfortunate situation, finally trying to get ahold of the only witness from the scene, which was left behind by the other law enforcement personnel.
The Captain understood the situation quickly, and apologized to the civilian and let them go, escorting them to safety.
After an intensive and confrontational investigation, which included a public calling by the VCPD chief to get ahold of the witness, it was concluded by VCPD Chief Gabriel Adams, that (then) Sergeant David Brand has acted "gross incompetence", and has demoted David Brand to the rank of Senior Officer, and that he will have to go through re-training in certain fields.
However, the conclusions of (then) FBI Director Kowalski were that the (then) Special Agent's behavior in the situation, according to Kowalski, was not unlawful, although he admit it could've been handled better. Kowalski then closed the complaint and and refused to issue any disciplinary action towards the (then) Special agent, citing that if the conclusion was unsatisfactory, to file an appeal in the court..
That was until the Chief of Staff of the FBI, Sir Klaus, intervened, saying they saw complaint and its verdict by Kowalski, and are very saddened by Kowalski "lack of leadership for defending such behavior from a Special Agent working under him".
Sir Klaus then proceeded to demote Special Agent Aiden "Maddy" Harris (the one complained upon) to the rank of Agent, and went as far as to demote FBI Director Kowalski to the rank of Special Agent! Sir Klaus also said that Special Agent Kowalski will be "consulted and instructed on more efficient handling of reports in the future to uphold the quality standards of service in the FBI that we expect".

"We received a complaint from a citizen who had to deal with former Sergeant under the circumstances of self-defense. They filed an official complaint against the now former Sergeant and the then Special Against of the FBI. After an investigation it was found that said Sergeant did not conduct their duties correctly. Due to incidents of similar nature, a disciplinary action of demotion was taken. They were put under additional training and evaluation."
