Alright, so for months now I've been without GTA: SA, and today I figure I'll start working on trying to get at least the game itself to work again.
Now, when I open the installation window it says either play GTA: SA or uninstall (there are other non-important options of course). I hit play and it tells me gta_sa.exe has had an error and needs to close. If I try to uninstall the same thing happens.
I considered just deleting all of the game's files from my computer, but when I try to delete them, they all tell me the same thing: Access Denied, Cannot Delete. Thus, I have no way of getting them off of my computer.
I've tried numerous things, including trying to overwrite the current .exe with a no CD patch or another gta_sa.exe and it refuses to let me anymore, saying that I'll need to rename the file to put it in the folder, after it asks if I want to overwrite the .exe there with the .exe I'm moving there.
Does anyone have any suggestions? If I could just get it to run in single player mode again, I'd be satisfied.
