Heres how to make FireFox Faster
go to about:config in the browsers window
Scroll Down to 'network.http.pipelining' and set it to 'True"
Scroll Down to 'network.http.proxy.pipelining' and set it to 'True'
Scroll Down to 'network.http.pipelining.maxrequests' And set it to a number if u use 20 it will make 20 Request at once (depends on how much your computer can handle)
Now Right Click Anywhere and go to 'New' 'Integer' and name it 'nglayout.initialpaint.delay' and set it to '0' This is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on the information it gets :D
-
heres another option: Opera (http://www.opera.com)
-
opera browser is annoying ¬_¬ it slows down my pc way more with its huge toolbar thing at the top. i know u can remove but still.

opera is nice (used it before ff) but they are just to slow incorporating fixes (like with the whole windows media player thing) i cant be bothered waiting 2 months to be able to use my favorite radio sites etc

Erm this may sound n00bish, but where's that about:config thingy?

you type 'About:config' in the addressbar

Hum, doesn't go much faster then before.
Scroll Down to 'network.http.pipelining.maxrequests' And set it to a number if u use 20 I set this one to 10, from 4... Dunno how big of a difference it makes.
