If 'fre' means 'free' and 'inet' means 'internet', then it's not possible (it is, but not for free). You cannot get free internet on your mobile phone, unless you use an application to connect through bluetooth/USB to your PC's broadband connection (not available for all phones). But then, you're going to have to be close to your computer so it's no use - you might aswell use your PC to browse the internet.

As for internet on your mobile phone outside of the house, you need to check your provider for availability (GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA). But then again, it's not free.

Both wrong.
If the phone in question has wi-fi, then you can connect it to wireless net just like you do with your laptop.

WiFi would only be in good use for your home situation. More and more wireless routers are getting passworded because of all the 'warnings'. Ofcourse some wireless routers are still unpassworded, but the time it takes you to find one is longer than just driving home and go sit on your PC.

However, this is the situation in the Netherlands - I don't know about Australia as in Watti's situation.

Yes, but not everywhere. ;)

That's why mobile internet is much better, you can connect everywhere (depends on your provider though).

No we're talking about all kinds of internets supported by mobile phones. :D

If you really want internet everywhere, get an UMTS device (check up at your provider if they offer subscriptions where you pay by the month, not the KB - otherwise it's no use).
