Title: Can anyone send me the gta3.img file

I was recently modding my san andreas game so it would run the biohazard alert mod, well i sort of ruined my gta3.img file :redface: and now i cant play the game :gd: so can anyone send me the file prettly please.

Reinstall. the gta3.img file is way too large... but maybe xcasio can give it... ive saw he doing it =P

Did you check how big is the file? I'll tell you. Uncompressed it's 896 MB (940 064 768 bytes).
With my 32kB/s upload rate it would take... 11 days of constant uploading?

BTW, weren't you warned to make a backup before modding? Remember, always make backups if you mod any game ;)
And why don't you reinstall your game instead?

How to reinstall? Maybe he hasn't got GTA3 CDs.If he has got why would he ask somebody to send that

Because uninstall/reinstall takes some time?

BTW - he means GTA:SA, not GTA3. But the file with the map/terrain, car, player models and textures is 'gta3.img' in GTAIII, GTA:VC and GTA:SA (i guess its because of the same game engine).

Reinstalling your game might be helpful, however if you don't have that capability, you might just try googling for the file..

Otherwise, its going to be difficult. Especially given that the file is much larger than most upload services even allow.

I ruined this file modding, i cant reinstall using a disk because i used a torrent, i didnt create a backup, is there anywayi can put it back to its original state.

a. redownload GTA:SA and reinstall (best is to download disk images - then you can reinstall your game)
b. search for the file in google

If I could, I would upload at rapidshare the 9 or 8 parts of GTA3.IMG file, so he could get it quickly...

i say again that file is huge, ull find it hard...
As all mods say * make backup first*  only thing i can say, reinstall it... 5 minutes work.. or if u got game... lok on dvd... original file is in there...

I may try to make some RAR files to put the file in parts... but it's freakin' hard because I dont know how to!! >_<

all CD/DVD installers are made of data cabs. not files you can drag in drop. your only option is to reinstall. locking
