Title: Low Frame Rate Playing SA:MP

Ok during SP i can run gta sa with an acceptable frame rate not super fast though kind of 25-20 but during mp the first few seconds is running smoothly then the frame rate started to drop to 11-8.

My Specs:

Graphic Card: Geforce 8600GT 256 MB
RAM:512 MB
CPU:2.66GHz 2.67GHz

ok my good friend here is what i got :D

Except mine is a 128 card...

ok..

GO ESC>Options>Display>Advanced Settings

it has options

Set the Draw distance to 0
Set the Frame Limiter Off
Set the Visual FX Low or Med (depending on how much Graphoc detail u want)
Set the Anti Aliasing 0/Off
Set the Resolution 800 x 600 x 32

You should have reasonable GP BUT :)

Its a mod that removes.. Smoke.. tyre Definition.. Tyre Marks..

it reduces Lag Dramaticly

You have pretty much the same specs as me sRy, but I only lag when i enter vehicles... I know exactly why but i dunno how to fix it... because my radio files are corrupt and dont play, when i enter a vehicle it loops the radio transition for at least 5 seconds, causing 5 frames per second...

It gets annoying, especially if Im wanted, makes it easier for cops to carjack me, so if anyone knows how to fix this problem, please say :)

And btw, what Watti suggested does help, well at least it worked for me. ;)

You don't need the DVD, I ran the program and it gets the files straight from the Program File directory. On the site it does say something about DVD but ignore it, just get the zip file and run the program.

So this is seriously my specs problem? i seems to lag in all game even if i passed the requirement and i just bought a 2gb ram its still the same  :(

 Missing radio files? Pirated? lol, what does this extractor do. I have been looking for radio files and this extractor pulled them out of no where..

If i seez any more off topic i delete off topic ok?

Speaker: U posibly got lots of sstuff on ur pc... time to uninstal some programs? when u do rune defragment... restart. it should fix 15~35% of lag and poor framerate isues
also i see good gpu u got latest drivers? cause latest ones are little buggy....
