I removed the topic about money repairing... :)
Cos we have at last a good news...
One of the 'inside" servers owners on French host was too cool to help us to get the archives...
So what happend with the French server...
As you know all our services stopped its working at one time... No any service from our server reacted...
The notifications about server down were ignored 2 days...
On Monday French hosters started answering...
First of all they said that server is running for them, and they have no idea why others cannot connect...
They accused our firewall in sudden blocking all traffic, even trusted routes...
Day by day the picture of incident started be clear...
French hoster blocked our server from internet...
First they said they can see server is working, and they have no idea why others cannot connect...
Second they said, it is our server firewall problems...
On this accuse Sauron asked to get on server in a rescue mode (without firewall)...
This was denied by hosters...
As they said they can reach the server, Sauron asked to stop the firewall, so he can get on server and check the files and server's logs...
This was also denied (your firewall - your problems)...
While Gandalf was corresponding to the owners of firewall, Sauron was trying to get on server to see, what caused the problem that made server down...
We were informed - get ready, French hosters will not give logs anyway... Cos then it will be clear the simple shutted down server by hosters themselves...
I have no idea how the hell Sauron made a friends from other servers, but here appeared a belguim guy, who could connect to our server not from internet (outside connect), but from his own server (inside french network)...
This guy wrote a letter that he still can connect to server... Sauron gave him a password, and in 30 minutes this guy reported: argonath files archive you can get from my server...
So what happend...
French hoster was amazed by our traffic and blocked the server... As they did not want to open their illegal action, they did not give the access to server anyway...
After comments like "Sauron you are a noob, just reinstall server", that means - sorry, all files will be lost, Sauron got really mad... "Why should I reinstall server, if you told me yourselves it is running"...
French hosters did not want to give any access to the server anyway, especcially when "noob" Sauron asked for it to check the server logs to find out the reason of shutting down the server...
For now...
Soon will be opened a new server, all files and scripts are saved, so please be patient, all goes on its places... :)
:ps: Sauron, me and Gandalf are really amazed by you... Man, you are f****ing great mate!!!!....

After the Belgium guy helped me, I decided to play it hard towards the French.
They have now admitted that they did close down the srver ports, as they say because of attacks.
So here is a professional company with 100 employees who claims that:
- The attacks that our firewall for a single server could handle were endagering their network hardware
- Their Technical Director personally engaged the block
- This Technical Director did not inform the support staff causing a technician to run to our server 22 times
- In such cases the server that is attacked is blocked an no actions taken against the attacker.
And thy called me noob :IQ:
We have players on our server with a more professional attitude and who can lie better than these French idiots.

So.. Do we have a date for the new server or will it be next week some time?
