Title: How to find out who is DJing...
Post by: Roadkill on April 06, 2008, 07:34:39 pm
If you was just wondering or didn't know already...

1) Get the radio window up... (By clicking RADIO at the top on the menu of this forum).
2) Right click the player (Windows Media Player) and click on 'Properties'.
3) Click the 'Content' tab and there you go...

If you listen to the radio in Winamp - the DJ's name scrolls in the title bar (on right of the time display).

True... thats probably one of the best ways to tune in to the radio anyway, but I've heard it can lag people's game a bit :\

Yeah that's right but I find that the Winamp audio buffer sucks... If you listen to the radio on Windows Media Player and the radio buffers then the radio pauses, buffers then continues. Winamp tends to continue buffering whilst playing and eventually that leads to the radio continuously stopping then starting.

If it really buffers a lot (which happens to me ONLY when I am downloading something, does not happen when playing online games), I just press stop, wait a second and play again (while using Global Hotkeys, so no alt-tabbing needed).
