today when i wanted to download a crack (or a fix) for a game, nod32 2.7 started awaring me thats unknown NewHeur_PE virus, i rapidly clossed connection and chosed the termiate button. but when i checked in logs there were 2 virus signs or what one was black and on right there was wrote "terminated" and the second one was red, am i infected? i didnt download the file at all i stopped so could u help me? :/

well just to be sure... i recomend u do a system scan... 99% that nod eliminated it but threr is always a chance something slips througs.... put it on scan when u go afk or out..., just to be sure, no need to panic though

whats Catroot2? its locked file in system32 eh? someone knows about how to delete it?

I googled and found this
Catroot, or more specific, the folder with the {F7503E etc} or similar name, holds the system-updates since you first installed W2K. Don't delete it. If there were trojans etc., programs like Adaware and Spybot and Hijackthis would have found them.
