At first my mom misunderstood me on "Cable" so she brought home a phone cable, then I had to go out and buy a new cable. But its all worth it.

Wait claire, Did you purchase a new telephone cable or did you purchase cable broadband.
Both can have a different in some sort of way.
acutal telephone cable = If good copper or even gold - Little Difference
Actual cable broadband = Biggest difference in the world.
