Title: Xbox 360 - Is it worth buying for a PS3 user?
Post by: Cross on May 24, 2008, 06:20:11 pm
Today i gone to a friend, and that friend got a Xbox 360.
I was always pretty negative agaist the Xbox, but i loved it!
First we did like Gears of War, looks damn awesome.
Then we did Halo 3, and that just kicked my nuts thro my ass.
It was damn funny to play it with friends.
Even tho i never played Xbox 360 i pretty owned in Halo.
Funish weapon is sword sword sword

My question to all the Xbox 360 users is:

Is the Xbox 360 still worth buying if you have a PS3.
And am talking about online gaming.

N-O!

I had a PS3 at my dads, And went and bought a 360 for my mums.

Complete waste of money.

It was fun at my friends house, that's what motivated me to buy it.

But it sucked at mine.

First of all i couldn't play online, then my batteries ran out every 5 minutes.

Complete waste of money and time...

Xbox360 has better quality...
Especially in Multiplayer..even if it is not free..
Xbox live shows how fun and advanced multiplayer modes can be.

PS3... many people say that it has potentials because of the blue ray thingy..
However, it is just a "potential", not 100% possible..

If you have ps3, I dont think you should waste your money to buy 360..
unless you want to enjoy xbox live...

lol, if you use shit batteries you're gonna get shit run-time.

I use rechargeable high mAH energizers, I spend most of the day on my Xbox and my batteries last at least a week.

Also, setting my Xbox up for live was a doddle, different story for PS3, but I guess I might just not have known what to do.

I still haven't got the ring of death, I have had my Xbox since just before the Christmas of 2006.

pc stays best of quality, but after that its ps3 not xbox360,

heard about destroying the cd's, and multiplayer is payed so that sucks,

and ps3 got as much games as xbox360 so dont say xbox360 got more(well maybe it got more because its older)

only good thing about xbox360 is the price

Dude it's up to you, people are either against the Xbox and for the PS3 or Vice Versa. Both consoles are extremely good, both have their pros and cons and I dont understand how some people can say, Oh my god the Xbox/PS3 is totally shit, the Xbox 360/PS3 owns that console, You buy what you want to buy, its up to the person. Dont let people sway you to buy/not buy a console, buy what you enjoy and what satifises you. And its always good to have two consoles

Yea but that's what's stupid about it.

If i put the cable into the back of my router and 360.

1) im not aloud to go on the internet at the same time.
2) It signs me off every second. Absolutely pathetic, And the support for the 360 is dreadful.

If you can't go on the internet, then you're router is the problem.

My router has 4 ethernet out ports and can support as many wireless connections as I need... Are you sure you're not thinking of a modem?

Modem>Router> what ever the fuck you wanna put online.

And I have to disagree with Xbox support being dreadful, my mic started to die, I rang them up, they sent me a new one, simple as.
