According to the comments its the final scene of movie "Soldiers"...
It shows so called "daddovshina" (abuse by higher ranked soldiers (daddies))... And yes thats true - that can happen in Russian Army in a regular forces (18-20 years old guys are taken on 1-2 years)...
-
Wow..that was awfull. How sick are those peoples, really!
-
What year is this??? ( in the vid) DAM!!! WTF maybe 1999 it was alloud then... now you can be arrested...
-
^^Yep.
Now it illegal, but then, it was legal and happened many times.
-
If you notice the cadets are not really hurt. The kicks are measured to inflict pain, but not actually hurt them.
Think they arrest people for this ? Maybe in the 'regular' army, but if you want to get in to special forces better expect to take this without whining....
-
In the special forces yes, but in normal army, this is prohibited.
I think, maybe its still legal.
-
Abusing was never legal... And if this would be real video the officer on it would be already in prison... As its not a documentary video, it was played scene... That is why its on public... :)
But if you have enough proves against crime - "daddie" would be arrested anyways, does not matter what year: 1990 or 2008...
Special forces have trainings, any abuse - you are out or down...
Besides it daddovshina - the element of "older" soldiers, and not officers... It means those who are in Army 2 years abusing against those, who just came to Army... Its the same as Argonath Regular says "f**king noobs" to new player...
-
old news
its now illegal
happened alot
main story : in the army there are 1-2 years
the first year soldiers are pretty much slaves, punching bags
the second year soldiers are more trained, stronger and higher ranked, they pick their "slaves" and make them wash their clothes, slap them around a bit practise a few moves and make them do funny things like the situp setups we saw here.
i think they just turned it to a one year thing now so its impossible t outrank someone
my mother and father joked around sending me there when i turn 18 , recently a friend of my mother sent her son there, he got a black eye and a broken rib in the first 2 months and she could not do anything about it. since then they stoped joking about it.

Twisted, poor grunts - they can't hit a Senior Ranking Officer back, or NCO for that matter, or would probably face quart marshal, like you guys said, hopefully its now been seen to and it took place in the earlier years such as 1999, theres no advantage they get from that, no self-defence training, its not even teaching them to control pain, its just beating, not beastings, beating, theres no justifcation for that.
-
Special Forces IT IS allowed...
They actually Stick them in a ring on their first or second day... fight each other...
-
its makes young kids change to adults and men
thats the whole point of army, is so u can be adult in all ur actions and meners,, army prepares u for every day life (in russia)
-
It was never legal...
I would like you to show me any Law where daddovshina was allowed...
From comments russian guy says it was the final scene of "Soldiers" serial... (The name of serial is in the beginning of clip)...
Dunno I never liked serials especially such soaped like "Soldiers"...
-

Its not a senior ranked officer, its the old soldier (2nd year in Army)..
If they will fight back they will get a respect and everything... All depends on your own communication possibilities...
-
Wtf
This is sick..I would fight with him so let it be...
-
ye i know in serbia they had like russians
-
And what actually is the point of beating up your own soldiers ?
-
If you do special forces, you must sign some special papers where you ''understand that you will be exposed to extreme training and that no so called abuse will happen due to the fact it will thereby be considered as a part of your training'' and so on. In other words, it makes it legal to inflict pain. Fake drowning, kicking, simulating burning, constant attack with pepper spray or other chemical non-lethal, tree hanging (they hang you by feets and you must untie urself and come down without breaking your neck ... Don't try it if no professional is with you) and so on are very common special forces training.
Regular forces are not exposed to such things of physical assault because they are supposed to be drilled, not beaten up. Why would they beat up a recruit ? To make him thougher, to make him understand he is not an egg, he can take some shots. It's educational ! But seriously if you want to hurt some new soldiers, make them parachute on ice...

We Dutch might be pussy's or something but I have a nephew in the Dutch special forces and he doesn’t get beaten up they train they have to run 20 miles carrying a boat on there shoulders on there bear feet. That trains you, being beaten up it (personal opinion that might be shared by many) just demoralizing.
And I also don’t see how that hardens you the pain of being beaten up wouldn’t compare to a round in your leg or actually being tortured, because them crazy torture people do funny things to ya ballz.
-
I doubt there are "daddies" abuse in any special forces... At least in Russia there are no... But trainings are more harder then you saw on this video... Cos Russian special forces are training in conditions to the maximal reality...
It means if there is a contact fight - can end with blood and broken bones...
-
Those aint abuse, they are part of the training. And for a new guy, it's hardcore training that might look like abuse. But everything is controled. If they hang you by the feets, they wont let you there 3 hours, you have very short time to untie yourself, or the blood may run up in huge ammount to your head and may cause problems. As when they simulate they drown you, when you begin to panic because u dont have air anymore, they take you out. The more often it is done, the longer you can last every time. Running 20 miles with a heavy charge? That is a basic training of Jägers. In winter training, when there is only about 1 foot of snow, there is that training where you wake at 6 in the morning, you get paradropped, you take your ski and go for a long ride. Then, at some point, there drillmaster wait for you so you think you are done. No, he says you have to remove the ski and run other half. Running with ski boots is very difficult if you dont know. So you just did about 16 miles in ski, which is not really hard, with all your gears. Then you have to run up a good 16 miles in ski boots. Painful. Not the worst tho. Being paradropped on ice, that is the worst. Or on a lake with thin ice. Very very funny too  . Ok divers training is worst and Special Jägers is crazy. Swimming in a lake that is about 50 farenheit with one hand, half naked, having to carry the stock with ur other hand. Then, you must dress up very fast and run for a while, then climb up a cliff, go down on the other side and so on. Such days are crazy but not too common.
But yeah back on topic, inflicting measured pain is common for elite special forces, but it aint something common in all army and some armies dont even give pain training. All depend of the countries and their tactics. I cant find a video on youtube but there is that south american army training where soldiers are holding a rope in one hand and their weapon in the other, they must jump from the tree or platform, the rope tighten up so they have to hold themselves for not crushing their bones. Then, some targets pop up and they must shoot. 2 difficulties there : Shooting without having a stable aiming position, which result in a very difficult weapon control and the effect of the recoil that make the soldier spin and the rope tighten even more so he have to grab even harder. When they are done shooting (Which is about thirty seconds or so), they have to climb back up on the rope. That is definitely hardcore pain. I really want to find the video back because it's impressive.
