Well, since I'm banned for a misunderstanding of my words :(
I'd figure I'd be active on the forums in a different way.
Well, as some of you may know, I'm not the skinniest thing in the world. The past months I've gained some weight (Rather an excessive amount...) due to me being out of school, and lack of a gym around here.
So I'd figured I would ask if any of you have any diets, or weight loss tips that actually work.
There are some restrictions to what I can do though
- No Gym in the area that I can get to
- Buying fruits & stuff all the time is pretty expensive nowadays
- I cannot buy any diet pills (They can kill you too, look at Chris Farley)
What do you all suggest?
I'm probably in the 300lbs range (most likely over) though I'm a big guy, like 6',5".
I'm not looking to loose 100 pounds now, I found that it worked if you set your goals smaller, like to lose 10 or 20 pounds, then when you reach that goal, do it again.

well if you're gaining weight, find out how many calories on average you eat a day, and lower it.
if you're staying the same weight, find out how many calories on average you eat a day and once again, lower it.
try to eat things with less calories to stay in the boundary of how many your body takes.
working out GAINS weight as muscle weighs more than fat, well if you're body building:P just in general find exercising ways to sweat, like jogging. start morning jogs etc, I don't really gain weight...no matter what i eat, but hey that's just me.

Eat 3 meals a day, if you need to eat in between try a cereal bar or something.
Go out for a run 3-4 times a week, working out with weights at this stage will just increase your weight and not get rid of any significant amounts of fat. So basically, do stuff that gets you very sweaty over a long period of time.

what i did(and worked) cut ALL meals in half, dont eat breakfast,eat dinner before 18h..... take more walks... dont eat bread if u can... thats it

Simple: If you can't go to the gym, try to take a walk, runs or excercise, excercise may be in a open area I think, also try to eat less, as everyone said here.
TIME SUGGESTED (IN MINUTES) AND OTHER SUGGESTIONS:
Walks: I think 15~~20 minutes can be good... 5 is not good.
Runs: Depends how much strength you have. DON'T SPRINT TOO MUCH! Otherwise you get tired, EXCEPT if you'r strong and can sprint very long time. If you'r not, go with a bit low speed. Don't go too slow tho, the run will transform into a walk lolz =P
Excercise: No suggestions. :D Do it in open space.
I guess I can't help you anymore, I don't understand height and weight thingies in America...
OFF: Lucky me I do like 3 or 4 walks everyday (except Sundays and Saturdays, or days I don't have school, but thats another story), to go to school, 15 minutes of walkin' :hurray: I have 50 Kilograms tho :war:

Yeh, do much jokes everyday, eat burgers, pizzas and other fast-food. I mean, really. No, actually do what others said here. BE lazy, eat fast-food and other things ;)

Self work out program, check out the Army or Marines, their sites often provide work out programes, thats how I kept in shape when I couldn't go to a gym, but i'm at a Gym now, also, try to completely avoid unneccasery food in your diet, that includes drinks such as Coke, Fanta, Lemonade, energy drinks are OK.
The best quick weight-loss: Running, if your looking to build, then the Army/Marine programes can help. Good luck.
Also don't avoid breakfast, just eat well; cereal, fruit, orange juice.

3 simple ways Hayden that I use, it works, I have lost 8 pounds in 2 and a half weeks
1. 3 meals a day. Breakfast - Cereal, or toast.
Lunch - Sandwiches, and possibly an apple if you can.
Dinner - Anything except takeaway foods.
you may think you can't live on this, but after doing this for 3-4 days, your body will get used to it, your stomach will shrink in size and you may not even be hungry enough to eat anything else.
2. Run 1 mile - 3 miles on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
3. Make sure you have a good pair of Running shoes, not flat addidas shoes or stylish nike ones or freaky Emo Hippy ones lol, get a pair of 'Aasic' in any good sports store, they are not dear, probably only around 60-80 dollers for a very good pair. You will need them or else your feet will have blisters after a couple of runs, and you won't be able to run anymore the rest of the week or even month, they have special padding at the bottom of them, remember, when your feet hit the ground as you run, you are hitting the ground with 3 times your body weight on your feet, so imagine 900 pounds hitting your feet with flat shoes... Not a good combination.

Its the cheapest and most simple sport of all you only need shoes a park or street ..

well much people have problems about weight the reason is because you eat and dont do sports you just sit and play computer.
but the real thing is what i do i eat(not much) and i play much sports and other stuff. Always in the gym when i come there i got run 30minutes and then do muscle training. after i eat i always skiprope fast very fast my fastest not only just skiprope once and thats it. i do i like 10-20minutes.
If you cannot afford to get into a gym just train your abs(stomach) and run around your location park would be good. run much so you sweet so much.
ok this is my meal sometimnes:
2Eggs in the morning or cornfalkes.
chicken(much protein little fats)
at night i eat maybe 1-2hotdogs or cornflakes
Make a table for you what you should not eat and what you should eat.
This is the easy way to loose weight and you must love running you will loose weight realy fast. If you love running you wil looose it realy really fast.
you gootta love running and enjoy it and you need to sweat! not just sit you need to be active not just sit sleep. i always do skiprope fast fast i was fat too but i lost weight. hope it helps.

Cornflakes aren't a good choice, my aunt is an aerobics and fitness trainer and she told me that it contains some hidden stuff. But yeah, walking is good for starting, and don't overtrain yourself, it makes you dizzy and hurts your organs.

If you dont like to run or make exercises then make love with your girlfriend :)...extreme sport :)

Best thing (made me lost 11 kg in about 4 weeks), just but a sweat suet and run for about 1/2 hours every night, also gives you a great condition.

Fighting sports if you ask me.
Boxing, Martial Arts, Wing Chun.
And you can train Martial Arts by yourself also, same goes for boxing.
Running is also a good idea.
Also, about the Martial Arts thing.
Watch out with training on it, once you get good at it you will get fight happy like me.
Because you can kick so much ass with it.
Incase you also wanna sit some months in jail, i recommend you to get fight happy :D

I donno exactly how it works but no she didnt die and no she wasnt close to die and no she didnt have much fat but if you have any little fat it will drain of it, google it :]

if you're on about the milkshakes i think you are, like "slim fast" and "nourishment" they are milkshakes that give you all the energy stuff you need, like all your vitamins and stuff, yes they're supposed to not make you hungry :P

true ..although I havent smoked for 5 weeks now and I dont really feel less hungry ..yesterday I actually ate more then when I did smoke . I hear people who stop smoking(also weeed like i did)sometines gain weight because they substitute the smoking with eating
so I have to be carefull ..tonight football ..again fat food and beer but i ran 12k today so thats compensation

Alright Hayden, it really depends on what you want to do.. I am trying to get SUPER fit to prepare for BUD/S ( Basic Underwater Demolition / SEALs, The SEAL training ) Things I do..
I don't diet, my eating is already healthy and always has been.. 3 Meals a day, nothing more.. ( Meal as in.. proper meal ) I snack sometimes in between, but nothing fatty or high on calories. As you said, You can't go to the gym, which I do 3 times a week.. So I suppose just do sets of pushups, pull ups and situps.. and run maybe.. 3 miles for the first two weeks, then increase to 4 or 5 on the 3rd or 4th week. ( Running is everyday ) Depending on your arm strength I find that the best thing to do is a set of 20 pushups, 40 situps, and then 5-10 pullups.. without stopping. ( Repeat that maybe.. 10 times, You can rest in between ) I also do dips ( Putting two chairs about 3 or 4 feet apart, holding your arms on the front chair and the legs on the back, and lowering and rising, along with the pushup/situp/pullup routine ) Of course, If you don't have anywhere to do pullups thats fine too. I go to the pool the 3 other days and swim 10 laps back and forth from one end to the other.. then rest a bit and practice my diving, I do half pool lengths of swimming underwater, 5 or 10 in a row, back and forth, with breath regeneration in between.. Then I ride my bike back home.. and I rest on Sundays :D
( This is my workout during the Summer, I do it every year, but the next 4 years this will be a year round workout.. )
Also, get a good pair of running shoes, and some comfortable clothes.. Sweat pants/ shirt are always good. ( I run in combat boots because I need to learn for SEAL training.. but I assume you don't really have access to those. )
If you want easier workouts, join a sports team.. they usually get you fit without you realizing :)
You can also go hiking / backpacking.. rock climbing, join marathons or triathlons..
