Title: Hitmen class.
Post by: Dimwit0 on June 14, 2008, 06:13:40 am
You know in real life, (especially corrupt cities like Vice City) you have mafia... and where you have mafia you have hitmen. I think there should be a set of commands for a new hitmen class. Like policemen, the can "want" a player sort of. Maybe a command like !hit <player ID/nick> <amount of money>, to put a hit on that persons head for a certain ammount of money, and the ammount of money offered automaticly gets transferred from "hitter" to the hitman. Then the hitmen class can go out and kill that person.

Pros: a fun new way to play the RPG

Cons: it may give the citizens too much power and may more revenge killings and random killings occur. They could just type hit right before they kill them so they get money. Or it may open up new ways to money cheat.

though it cannot be cheated,
but its better to call a player, decide about a secret hitman contract, then the hitman kills the target and then you pay him by !send command

in case of a command
the target will already know that he is gonna be assassinated beforehand, he also know who is gonna attemp murder him
that ends all the fun already

there's a body guard skin. It can be used as hitman. Then only the body guard skin should be able to accept hits.

Quote from: MTA:VC's Commands
Hitmen/Bodyguards Commands

!hitmen - Shows the list of hitmen.

!sethit <HitmanNick> <VictimNick> <Amount of money> <Reason> - Offers hitman jobs to someone.

!accepthit - Accepts the offer.

!refusehit - Refuses the offer.

!target <Hitman> - Shows the name of the victim that a hitman has to kill.

!whohit <Hitman> - Shows the name of the hirer.

!bodyguards - Shows the list of bodyguards.

!setbody <Bodyguardnick> <Amount of money> - Offers bodyguard jobs to someone.

!acceptbody - Accepts the offer.

!refusebody - Refuses the offer.

!whobody - Shows the name of the hirer.
Why we arent using this ? that scripts from MTA:VC.. This is very better than our hitman system.

Roleplaying a Hitman is much more effective.

I agree with that. The old skool RP is effective but it would be cool if the local chat and shout chat were added.

Yeah I agree too, but, with scripts I think it's better... Well, not having script is no harm too  :D

Yes but there's no need for unneeded scripts which in this case it is
The time could be put into a much more script based idea
