Anyone know what this means? Its obviously something to do with vorbis.dll, but what is it and how can I fix it?
EDIT: Its only with SA:MP...
-
Step 1) Go to www.dll-files.com.
Step 2) Download "vorbis.dll".
Step 3) Put the "vorbis.dll" in your GTA: San Andreas directory (make a backup of the old vorbis.dll for safety).
I hope this will help you.

Still doesn't work
-
Try to reinstall SAMP. If that still doesnt work try to Upgrade / downgrade to R3 / R2
Make sure there isnt any other vorbisfile on your computer, to check try the search function.
-
Some other programs use a "vorbis.dll" as well... do I do anything with them?
EDIT: there at least 6 "vorbis.dll" files on the Local C: Drive...
-
tell me their location
DONT move them
-
C:\Program Files\Marble Blast <--thats a game
C:\Program Files\plugins
C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\David\GTA San Andreas <--real SA
C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\David\San Andreas <--SA thats messed up which is why I reinstalled in another folder
Other ones were on desktop from downloading them...
-
Try to download ogg.dll and replace it. (got this tip from a Dutch language forum).
-
Still the same error :(
-
C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\David\San Andreas <--SA thats messed up which is why I reinstalled in another folder
Maybe this is the problem, you probably forgot to uninstall the previous version before installing this one. Try uninstalling and deleting everything, then re-installing again.
If it doesn't work, you may have a worm infected your vorbis file (I had once, kicked his ass tho) , try stinger, it works :P

I just discovered something... for some reason SA:MP was using the gta-sa.exe from the "San Andreas" file still, instead of "GTA San Andreas"... so thats why nothing has changed every time I attempt to fix the error... now I'm just getting an ogg.dll error which I should be able to fix by getting another "version" of it.
-
Yes! After weeks of trying to get SA:MP to work, its all fixed! :D
All I had to do once fixing the vorbis problem was to go to a gta forum to get the right ogg.dll as there are many different version of it and the ones at dll-files.com and other dll sites are not the right one.
Thanks for all your help, most of your replies were very helpful!
