Title: NOD32 + MTA:VC = love once and for all?
Post by: Fatboy_Rob on July 07, 2008, 05:17:34 am
I guess not.
Well, anyhow I got GTAVC from my old PC again, to come play MTA again cause it's cooler than SAMP...
Anyhow, I install VC, then I try to install MTAVC and NOD32 comes in and blocks it.

I don't know how to make NOD32 'ignore' the installer, or mtavc.exe. Can someone help?

Hmmmm....

Seems that every time I install MTAVC now, it automatically deletes 'MTAClient.exe'
And NOD32 is turned off.

Any suggestions?
Fix:

1) Double Click your NOD32 Icon
2) Click Tools
3) Click Quarantine
4) Click on the MTAClient.exe and click restore

1-Get a better anti-virus/software/internet security program (Kasper sky)
2- there is a solution :-

Right click on NOD32 in the desktop(supposed to be in the under of the screen),Click settings, and add MTA Folder,MTA,Every thing  that is realted to MTA to threats and exclutions, make it a trusted zone..before u install mta first u have to Turn-off NOD32 and and install mta while NOD is turend off do what i told you above.

PS-NOD32 is very bad,i already tried!

Bye's hayden, thnx again for the sig.

Why is NOD32 bad?
They have almost the same performance, even NOD32 is better than Kaspersky in proactive defense and Kaspersky only loads the system too much..
Everyone thinks different...NOD32 is excellent for me and i didnt have problems with him yet, so i dont see the reason to delete NOD32 just because of game...

I also think NOD32 is better, simply because it has bigger viruses database and also doesn't use up too much resources of computer, but it blocks MTASA too, thats a downside that can easily be fixed by restoring.

Well, I don't know how to ignore my AV either so what I do is when I wanna play...

turn off the active defense
restore it from quarantine
play
then turn active defense on and it will put it in quarantine again :p

NOD32 is the shit! It's so good, yet it doesn't take much resources when doing anything.
Anyways, thanks guys!
