I heard that when you change your wheels after modding at a transfender (or that other modding place in SF if it's an elegy, jester, uranus, etc), it changes the handling of the car somewhat. I tried to look this up on the net but had no luck. Is this true, and if so, what affect do each wheels have, is the performance increase relative to the price of the wheel? Also, for other mods such as rear spoiler and vents, do they have any effect in terms of things such as performance, weight and handling?

well...i don`t think it works when you buy the wheels, but i noticed a change in the handling when i bought suspensions

The wheels does change the handling , if you for example buy big wheels , the car gets steadier but a bit slower , if you buy relatively small wheels , the car goes faster but is way less steady.

I saw some vids on youtube about a landstalker with and without offroad wheels.. He tried to drive up from standing still behind the doherty garage. Only worked with the offroad ones..

ive always thought modding doesnt affect handling... :/ will have to try this..

i also think that when you mod cars that it changes the handling of the car. When i change wheels, sometimes the car spins more arround, etc. It does got effect.

Try racing around streets with lots of corners, not straight lines or up inclined planes, you will notice a difference. ;)
