Title: Messenger doesn't work.

Hey people, I need help my msn messenger doesn't work. I tried reinstall it, install other version... but it continues doesn't working

When I try to login it says "error: 81000395"

I got the same problem now but the error is : 80048820 :s

I get the message:

"Logingin is impossible, because the service is temporary unavailable. Please try again later.

Error: 81000395"

And it's everytime I try ...

I uninstalled mine and now I can't download a new one because of my s**tty internet .. :D

You just have to wait I think, it worked after 10 min for me again.

I contacted with Messenger's support and they said this problem is caused by AVG 8.0, you only should turn "instant messaging" protection off.

uhm...if you're on about yesterday. msn had a temporary downtime:P. had all my friends ringing me up going "did your msn just cut out?!"

Yeah, I fixed that ... the problem that I can't install MSN still appears tho  :(

That's quite my problem right now ... and looks like those fishfaces from my internet company are not bothering to fix the problem, as it is from 4-5 days already...

Number one reason is AVG, I had the same problem and uninstalling it fixed, (later reinstalled and added it to the Allow list)

So, check your firewall
