Hello..
I got two computers, the one of them have a 2.8 GHz, and the other have 2.79 GHz processor... I am only using the one of them, so am I able to add the other on the computer that im using, so it will be about 5.6 GHz? And will it be easy to do?

I dont know that but i know you would have to repurchase your operating system :(
but if you order from the uk. Vista home basic £35

In some years like in 5 years it will be possible :)
-
It is possible sorry i did not read your question correctly. Beware if you dont have a decent motherboard your computer will explode.
You should use a soldering iron with some scrap metal and link all of it together

I cant take that risk, explode my motherboard :(
I will maybe call a person who have tried such things before, I wont do anything by my self, when I arent 100% sure how this will be done.
Thanks.

There is a Motherboard that supports two processors, but... you won't ever buy it, or need it.
That's like using a Bomb to kill one single Aragorn. Not Necessary .

It is possible to have two processor but your motherboard may not support those... You may not get second processor to that.. And if you buy new motherboard you need to buy new operating system...
-
If u have a socket 775 (if you know what that is ) (Intel core 2 duo, Dual Core and core 2 quad )
You can hav two processors in 1 chip, (Dual core) up to 4 (Quadcore)
If your able to wait 5 years more you could be able to add a extra CPU via PCI... This CPU is made partly from rat brains
-
Adding 2 cpu's of lets say 2.5ghz will NOt give 5ghz of cpu power, it will still be 2.5, all data that needs to be procesed will b split into 2 parts and after computing put together, only benefit is ability to multy task

If you really wanna good processor why don't you go to store and buy Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 3.2GHz.. It costs like 1300-1400€ :D

Cheaper way is Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33GHz. It costs just like 200-300€ :D

buy a server motherboard if you really want to use two physical processors, and yes if a program supports multi-threading it will be like running at 5GHz, otherwise it will only work at 2.5.. locking topic
(they cant explode.. :trust: )
