Hello my name is Jonathan Smith, the Vice-Chairman of Seneca College for more information refer to http://www.senecac.on.ca
Me and Ivan have been watching my network breaking the rules on the internet. Now due to Ivan contacting about this. I am terribly sorry for this.

-Actions Being Taken
Rking [Rolland] Being removed/transfered to George Brown College for more information refer to http://www.georgebrown.ca/
Sjm has been banned and removed from Network "for now"

-Accusations of Jann [Jk47,Juicyy]
Jann has been accused of many things such as Hacks, Imposter etc.. This is false/However Jann has told me that he has impostered one player.
Jann does not have hacks on his pc, This is a rule in the registration and use of the Network. We don't only have problems with this server,
we have other servers but will not be mentioned under the rules here. All accusations of Ryder impostering came out False just another silly attempt by Rking and his friends.

-Admins mentioned to me
-David-Haldir-DeeJay-Sharphis-Gandalf
I would like you to know that everyone who uses the Seneca Network will have the same IP and changes frequently.
From now on if this act continous email me at [email protected]

-Usernames used on network/Banned users
-Sjm/Sjm_araatus,Roleking,Rking_Araatus,nachsux,ferchusux,Hank_staffery,[MOB],smsux,GangsterB,Tanridge,Iclub and etc.. We have a whole list here, not very suprised, we have also had problems with games such as World Of Warcraft and Gunz:The Duel.

-Solutions to Problems
I may hire someone to Monitor and watch out for people using hacks on your server. We are doing this to refrain from Lawsuits.
Jann and Rking don't know eachother and I hope it stays like this. To refrain any fighting due to one being a teenager and now being an adult.

Notes
I have no problems with the network from being routeblocked. The problem is students coming to me saying we need to access such.
I however would like you to know, We can track Mac-address and this is why we know who is doing what,where and how.

Campus Networks
We have Bell [65.]
We have Satelite Provider [70.]
Our networks are password free and Wifi-Enabled

Referring to the IP act, Well it was a little situation regarding multiple accounts.
One of your students was found to have a few more accounts under there Alias. There alias represents your college.
After this person logged on, they bad mouthed the whole server and other serious incidents. The only person that logged on after the incident from your college was Juiccy. Therefore his name was under the IP. The situation got out of hand and your student recieved a game crash, which in which returns you to your desktop. Moments later he returns with a new ip address. We only toke this as serious because it could have been used to hide accounts. But our admins toke screenshots of the alias therefore we still have the proof at hand for yourself.
After sending an enquriy to Gandalf, He spoke with yourself and hopefully he explain the situation.

Im sorry for the inconvience this has caused.

A note to our admins: the alias shows all nick that have been used on an IP. In case of the Seneca network where IP's are changing the alias can be misleading, as multiple students could have the same IP at once or in turns. This is due to their open structure, which is a blessing for the students as they have Wifi coverage all over the campus.

I hope that with the change of Rking to a different college there will be no more bad activity and admins will not be alerted by these IP's.

[MSG]Ryder was rking, as I checked his login and password.

Unfortunately SA:MP is not built to register MAC addresses or IPv6. Hopefully future developments will give that option. However it has already been established that Seneca's monitoring system can connect the time and IP to the correct persons.

Basically we have been under attack recently from hackers and bots who mainly imposter players and flood the server. Recently the attackers have been coming from Finland and Canada...or to be more precise, your college.

We noticed that Jann had the exact same IP as the flooders which now is no surprise to us as he is on the exact same network. However, he did get kicked once by mistake (we got to a point where we checked IPs of everyone who entered the server, and he had the bad IP). We are sorry for this. Myself in particular as I made the mistake.

As for impostering players, I was PMed by Ryder claiming that someone was impostering him, so I did an IP check...and found the name "Juicyy". I kicked him off the server for impostering other players. I later found out that Juicyy was Jann's new name...and this caused a massive interogation session with Jann, which he is a little bit sour about, seeing as he has been proven innocent.

We are sorry for accusing him of impostering Ryder but you have to understand that we DID check IPs and found his...

Also understand that we were just being cautious and these accusations are not a personal attack against Jann or anyone else.

Me neither. I searched the site for the name 'Jonathan Smith', and nothing popped up. Also the '[email protected]' is a bit suspicious is my eyes. Every person mentioned on that site has a '@senecac.on.ca' mail adress. So why using a yahoo email?

I hope i'm wrong, because I would be glad if that Rking and SJM thingy finally stopped.

After reading all of this, The college is in the wrong because allowing such as games interfers with school work.
Yahoo emails are being used by the princpal while on campass.
All information in this topic can be found with a general search into the IT area.

For someone that is quite old usally teachers of his status aged about 45 and yet he has enough knowledge of an SMF forum layout.
He also reported he is going to a registration forum. Do his students sign up via forum, I dont think so.

Regarding this information, there college will be recieving a phonecall to speak to the security at the college.
Along the issues regarding AUP infringement.

If you all think im crazy, Reread all his posts and do some searching

And if you are found to performing any more actions against our own policy and your own. We will have to legal action and resolve the matter.

Because some students from the college wont to impersonate teachers of the college for legal matters then they will be the ones having matters of there own. Emails have been forwarded to all 6 Vice presidents and all colleges in the ontario area and torronto have been notified of the in justice.

Seriously guys we aint stupid. ;)

INVESTIGATION CLOSED

Reason: Seneca college was more than helpful regarding the matter.
