Hi
I have a problem.
When i start SA:MP and press the green (play) button to go ingame it doenst do anything..
reinstalling samp doesnt help either, only reinstalling GTA SA makes it work for a few times again..
Does anyone know this problem, and perhaps knows the solution?
Thanks :)
Cheers, [AV]MrME

Try Go In Documents and find the folder "GTA San Andreas User Files" Delete the whole folder. Then go try reconnect again :)
Good Luck.

Hope you can fix it.
Btw, welcome back Mister Me !! ;)

why you use green button, just double click server,
much faster, and maybe it works then,
anyway:

Maybe same problem as me? You need a crash to get back ingame or a reboot. If you quit game you cant start again.

if you maybe use vista, try running as administrator mode (right click -> run as administrator mode)
after restarting my computer, it works mostly again for 2-3 times. You sure it doesnt work for you?

1) MrMe are you installing any mods such as hot_cofee? :D
2) Delete "GTA San Andreas User Files" from My Files (whole folder)
3) Reinstall GTA SA to the new folder...

Try to delete gta_sa.set or something... not the whole folder...
Might work

If you press the green button and 'nothing' happens, open the Task Manager and check if GTASA.exe is running or not.
State which operating system you use. Always check if the single player version works.
On Vista do NOT install SA:MP or GTA:SA under the \program files\ folder. It will cause problems with access rights.
If Vista offers you to upgrade GTA:SA after closing, do not upgrade. If upgrades are set to automatic, set them to manual confirmation.
