Hum
I passed
But it said some things:
Video Card Driver Version (DirectX)
Your driver version number is: 6.14.11.7519
FYI: Your video card driver version is provided for your information, but it is not part of this analysis. But proper video card driver versions are important to the proper operation of your product.
And
Sound Card Driver Version
Your driver version number is: 5.10
FYI: Your sound card driver version is provided for your information, but it is not part of this analysis. But proper sound card driver versions are important to the proper operation of your product.
To be more precise:
I double click the .exe and it does nothing.
Oh another thing:
The site it's a bit... hum... says some crap...
Cuz I have Crysis, and runs smooth (Low settings FTW lol?), and it says i cant run it -.-
EDIT: I am getting the 1.1 patch, maybe it's cuz of that
EDIT2: I got the 1.2 patch and still not working

It said my Video Card won't pass it..
1152x864 and low graphics fps 50.

Update driver from graphics card to lastest, it might help!
You can try if the demo works...
-
does it gives any errors or just drops to desktop?

I have the gcard up to date
does it gives any errors or just drops to desktop?
It just doesn't start, I double-click the icon/exe and doesn't work.
I also tried from Start > All Programs > Codemasters > GRID
I even tried safe mode.

ok try this for me first:
open task menager, go to processes tab, click to sort by cpu usage
leave task menager on screen, try to start grid, u should see it come up near top of proccessses in task menager
now tell me does it show up and quickly disapears, or it doesnt show at all?
-
I find if u buy it for a Console then it dont have too many problems and looks much better

I will not waste money for a console + GRID if my PC can run GRID :trust:

Computer specs? Maybe that your computer cannot even run GRID.
Min. system requirements:
XP / Vista
Athlon 64 / Pentium 4 3.0GHz (processor)
1GB Ram (at Vista 2Gb)
ATI Radeon X1300 / NVIDIA GeForce 6800 (gfx card)
-
I have:
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
Intel Dual Core 1,80 GHz
2 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600
-
Well may be that your processor is the reason. But I suggest you to ask this from the Codemasters.
-
That processor is not enough to new games.. I suggest you to buy new one.
Like: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 GHz

Then how it can run Crysis?

Then how it can run Crysis?
I had Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 @ 1800MHz (1,8 GHz)
CoD4 FPS is JUST 10 from processor..
So Crysis wouldn't work with that kinda processor.
Maybe you have overclocked?
-
I think its because it's a DUAL CORE and the two "nucleons" or cores whatever (I dont know how to say in english) have like 1,80 GHz then 1,80 GHz + 1,80 GHz = more than 2,00 GHz which are the minimum Gigahertz to it to run.
Also I don't know if it's overclocked, I dont know how to do that  (Maybe my brother does)
-
Overclocking is simple, though I haven't ever done that. You go into your BIOS (by clicking F2/F12/Delete at your motherboards load screen at startup) and then changing the MHz's higher a little bit each time. And then you just test them for playing and idle, check the temperatures and low if they get too hot.

But if you will set it too high, you can break motherboard.. I support to not changing anything in BIOS if you dont know how to do it...
Also, i overclocked my processor once, and since i broke it, i have not oveclocked my Graphic Card or Processor again..
