Title: Chassis intruded.. [SOLVED]
Post by: Proxan on September 03, 2008, 07:01:34 pm
Hi,

Since I changed powersupply , a message always appears when I start ...

It says "Chassis Intruded! Press F1 to resume..."

Well If I press F1 it starts windows...

I dont know whats the problem is because everything works...

Just annoying that message comes up everytime you start..

Anyone have a solution to get rid of that message?

This is for an asus motherboard  atlhough it should look something similiar for you

If you look around the bios (press f1 to enter setup) there definitely should be an option to disable chassis intrusion.  It is likely going to be under 'Security' else if you cant find any option then look below

Please see the link:

http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5M2-M/Manual/e2777_p5m2-m_content.pdf

On page 51 instruction, or you can look at the header AUX-PANEL1 as in picture attached and find the pin CASEOPEN.

I've checked all setting and such in bios..

The only thing I found was this "Wait for F1 if error" [Enabled] ..

Yes that option is currently enabled...

I haven't try to disabled it yet ... because why does Chassi intruded actually appears? It should be something wrong with the pc then... or does it always show after you changed powersupply?
