Looks pretty cool, I'll try it when I'm back home.
Man i am prob to stupid for this game, how does it work at the first place? what to download?
Man i swear i will crash the first 5min i fly (if i can even get in the sky).
This isn't a goofy add on like SA:MP, VC:MP, MTA...etc this is an absolutely stable add on for an absolutely stable game. The game will not crash, your computer may crash if it is terrible but I have never crashed/lagged using VATSIM or even heard of people crashing.Though I think he ment crashing as in hitting the ground blowing up and killing 200 people on-board

Do i need Microsoft Flight Simulator? :Oyes

Hahaha, yeah kinda like that, love how Trojan talks about that the software won't crash
Is there a way to spectate other pilots to gain knowledge?
Ok, thanks Kaltsu. I don't even have FS though, so I may need to go out and buy it.As I said, you do not need FS for observing or if you want to concentrate on ATC work only. The pilot role naturally requires a flight simulator.
EDIT: I don't suppose living in Australia will have any advantages, connection/delay wise either :neutral:VATSIM consists of networked servers all around the world so you can just use the server which is the closest one to you.
You guys should get out and do it for real :devroll:And how do you know if we already are? :devroll:

And how do you know if we already are? :devroll:Are you?
Are you?
If I told you, I would have to kill you.
Never in my life have I heard of someone killing someone after telling them that they are a pilot.
You can check out the VATSIM server list HERE (http://data.vatsim.net/display/default.html?show=3&filter=). ;)Thanks, Sydney will get me 60-80 ping :D
I'll be buying FS 2004 soon probably (unless you guys recommend me 2006 (X) version?)
I think Flight Simulator X is nice but it's also quite heavy. So in case you have a good computer I would definitely recommend Flight Simulator X. ;)Well, the only problem is FS X requires DVD-ROM and the computer I was planning to run it on only is CD-ROM. And the other computer (with DVD) is only 40gb capacity which is already full...
So is it still possible to fly together with different versions?
Yeah, you can use Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002/2004/X or X-Plane to fly in VATSIM.My advice is 2004, more add-ons is avalible and less problems with the CPU.

Btw, nice sig Roadkill ;)
It look pretty cool, but I never been good at these games :)
I would also crash when I tried to get up in the air I think.
