Now is your chance to take part to the Rickroll of the century! Apparently this idea originally took off from the WoW-Europe's forums (don't get it wrong, I don't play WoW) but has been spreading all around different forums ever since.
Instructions:
1. Go to http://ema.mtv.co.uk/vote/ (http://ema.mtv.co.uk/vote/#_)
2. Navigate to the "Nominate" section in the bottom right corner
3. Choose "Best Act Ever" and write "Rick Astley" (if it doesn't work, try "Astley Rick " instead... :roll:) and VOTE!

Astley shortlisted for MTV award
Eighties pop singer Rick Astley has become the surprise contender for best act ever at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool.
The star, who has never been nominated in the history of the event, is up against U2, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Green Day and Tokio Hotel.
The winner, chosen by fans online, will be unveiled at the show on 6 November.
Astley returned to prominence this year when internet users were "tricked" into watching the video of his biggest hit.
Sole nomination
A craze called "Rickrolling" saw web users unwittingly follow links to Astley's videos. It led to millions of plays of Astley's song Never Gonna Give You Up, which reached number one in the UK in 1987.
It went on to become a number one hit in 15 other countries.
"Rick's fans have obviously decided that he deserves recognition as a pop icon and no doubt they are determined to make sure he wins on the night," said the award show's producer Richard Godfrey.
Madonna is up for the video star category with 4 Minutes - the only nomination she has received this year.
The 50-year-old pop star will battle it out with 30 Seconds to Mars, Santogold, Weezer and Snoop Dogg, who hosted the ceremony last year.

Rick Astley has become a surprise contender for best act ever at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
Two decades after his single hit the top spot in 16 countries, Astley's fans have taken its title Never Gonna Give You Up quite literally, by selecting him for nomination.
Astley, in his first ever nomination in the history of the MTV Europe Music Awards, will compete against Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Green Day, Tokio Hotel and U2 for best act ever.
"The audience has spoken and MTV has been well and truly 'Rickrolled'," said Richard Godfrey, senior vice president, music and production and executive producer, MTV Europe Music Awards.
"This surprise nomination truly demonstrates that the MTV Europe Music Awards is the most democratically selected awards show there is. Rick's fans have obviously decided that he deserves recognition as a pop icon and no doubt they are determined to make sure he wins on the night."
A clip of Never Gonna Give You Up has been viewed around the world due to "Rickrolling", whereby internet users click onto an enticing link which takes them to the 1987 video.
Voting is open at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards' dedicated website at www.mtvema.com to decide who will walk away with the award on the night.
The 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Liverpool Echo Arena on Thursday, November 6.

Its kinda weird that Rick Astley actually made it as one of the noninees.. I mean, months ago I thought this whole vote for him thing woulnt work.
Then.. when I heard on the radio he was one of the nominees I laughed at the fact that it actually happened :lol:

I hate Rickrolling but I voted 3 times. I think it would be cool if he won because he is actually, possibly the best ever act apart from U2.

Hah, i thought id bump this up. I watched EMA yesterday as i wasnt able to watch live broadcast which was on 6th november i think and believe it or not but Rick did get the best act award!!! epic lol.
