Title: Steam VS D2D vs ???
Post by: polopolo on September 18, 2008, 10:51:03 pm
Hello people!

Since today I upgraded SWAT 4 from 1.0 to 1.1 to play the gamemode "CO-OP".

Problem only is that I have an illegal version of SWAT 4 so I can't play on 1.1 servers.
That made me thinking if I should go to an shop and buy it originaly.

Then I want to try out 2 shops, Steam and Direct 2 Drive.

My questions before I try out one of the shops is:

Can I pay in euro's? €
Can I pay via bank or via Paypal?
Wich one has the nest service (in answering questions, in upgrading patches and etc)
If I buy at Steam or D2D, can I still play at original servers?

And.. wich one is the best in you're mind?

I think I will buy 2 games.

SWAT 4 on D2d (because STEAM doesn't have it) and possible Counter Strike for Steam, but first let's try an demo of Counter Strike.

Few hours ago I buyed SWAT 4 Gold for an cheap price of €15, but now I got problems.

I wanna play at the multiplayer (that's why I bought it), and then it doesn't want me to connect, I don't get any server, even entering an server manually is impossible!

Direct2Drive directs me to Sierra, I hope they can help me.
