My Idea
My Idea is to have the F.B.I open for all players to use. To could work well with the A.R.P.D and the players in the A.R.P.D can use there respected skins and for other players such a newbies too. I kinda getting bored of the police & SWAT skin :neutral:

I think the beach skin could be taken over its one of the most unused skins :neutral:

when ARPD is opened, I will demand to get the FBI skin,SWAT skin and undercover skin back.
They were there first, now not anymore..

IF A.R.P.D will make FBI skins i suggest the FBI skins from GTA III ;)

That is not possable i tried useing a gta3 skin with vc and i did not work well it did but the man was mes up

Agreed and these will most likely be replaced in future

I disagree.
The hardworking ARPD members would not like to have any possible abusers running around in their shoes and muddying them up.

The idea of Argonath is that everything should be equal, so that there won't be anyone superior, so that people won't say like
"Ha, i got accepted to ARPD and only i can use the skin, You can't Cause u sux"
This should be avoided, that's why everyone should use the skin
So i suggest we make the FBI skin but for everyone.
I'M not an ARPD member , and if you accepting saucy players to ARPD it isnt other players mistake. As for me no one from ARPD is can say to newbie players "Ha, i got accepted to ARPD and only i can use the skin, You can't Cause u sux" ..

I doubt anyone in ARPD would say that someone sucks for not being in ARPD, but thats the point, if you want to be a cop you need to do proper training... which is why people go through police academy. its just life, :]

IMO,
1.ARPD people would not said that.If so he or she would get suspend If reported.
2. This would make Argonath More Popular.
Example:When i Had SAMP and i was a free cop and you had to in ARPD to get this Rank and cool skin.I wanted to know everything about ARPD and Argonath to join the ARPD i think that shold happen also it would in crest the number of people that play Argonath

The FBI skin should be earned IMO.
If it wouldnt be, there would be many people who drive around claiming to be FBI in FBI skin but who also do not even know how to spell "investigation".

I have to agree with Jingle except for 1 thing. I don't think and hope not to see an ARPD member brag about his position
But I agree with Jingle, I don't want to have to apply for ARPD just to get the FBI skin
Everyone should be able to get it
everyone's able to get the swat skin and I've never seen a big problem with newbies picking the swat skin

IMO there should be ranks.
It's good for RP and for ARPD members, also a motivation to new players to try joining it.
If ARPD members says such things like "Ha, i got accepted to ARPD and only i can use the skin, You can't Cause u sux" as Jingle said, obviously there should be punishment.
Kinda off topic, but as we are talking about cop system, IMO patrolling with SWAT skin is kinda.. wierd.. you don't see SWAT guys IRL handing tickets and doing traffic pullovers.
Same thing would go to FBI, if there's gonna be it on new scripts.

Ranks are vital to the ARPD. In real life, if you are working in a Police department, the Captain is not going to promote you to Detective/Sergeant on your first day. Not everybody is equal because not everybody has the same traits and skills. Some might, but it takes time and effort to get into a comfortable and powerful position, things shouldnt be served on a platter. ;)

I agree with Gildor and Snake.
Besides, Jingle, take a good look at the ARPD. They dont recruit the kind of people that would go "HA i can use this, you cant, YOU SUCK!".
The SWAT and FBI should be restricted to their respective agencies in the ARPD, so that players will be even more motivated to join and learn cop RP. I wouldnt like to hear talk about VC:MP "Oh, VC:MP? The FBI there are newbs and abusers".

I think that JDC does not meant it in that way.I think he is meaning FBI should have Good Guns And that A good skin and all persons like if i was New here would like to be in that skin.If they can't get in the skin they would l know how and join.
IMO if they had the skin And most of the Players are DMers in VCMP would kill personell
but IMO Admins should grant the FBI skin if your not in ARPD you would have to Apply at the foum.If accepted they you can have it.If you DM you would get it taken away

IMO all skins should be available to everyone. If there are abusers, there are admins too. If there is no admins, you can call them via MSN. If someone is Dming with FBI skin, just call admins.
New players should be available to use FBI skin, because new players may have never heard about ARPD, so they can't join to it.
And if FBI & SWAT skin would be restricted, then everyone would try to apply to ARPD, which would be hard to ARPD recruitment team.
IMO easiest way is to let all skins be available to everyone, because EVERYONE has the needed skills to RolePlay a cop/swat/FBI. If they don't know it, then others can TEACH him.

So if personnel want to do this give this the Cop and SWAT skin but FBI is off limits

On server, we are meant to act like we would in real life... Members of the public cannot simply walk off the street into an F.B.I/Police HQ, slap on a uniform and go out into the world to Fight crime. They must apply/go through training/climb ranks and EARN there authority. I dont think this is about DMing at all, it is about how unreal the crime-fighting system actually is in argo, If they want to be a cop then they must investigate it, go through the training and earn it.
Thats my opinion :neutral:
