Title: Wireless Router Problem
Post by: Wash on October 01, 2008, 11:26:35 pm
I bought a new wireless router, the WHR-G125 model, I live in the UK.

I had set it up, finally, after long configuration.. I use a PC and a laptop. I need them both to work at the same time with internet, my laptop has a built in wireless card, and my PC is directly connected through one of the 4 LAN ports on the wire less router.

It was working fine, I was just on adobe photoshop, and all of a sudden, the internet stopped working, I tried everything, resetting the router, checking the wires, re-connecting the wires..

I just can't seem to get an internet connection while the router is set to on, the internet works when I have set the Router Mode to off, but then I cannot use my PC and Laptop.

I would EXTREMLY apprieate it if someone was able to help me out, I need it very very badly..

thanks for your time, Wash

Maybe try calling a support line of the maker/company of your router?

I did a lot of resetting on the router, and it still wouldn't work...Just before I was about to give up, I turned off my computer, and everything else including the router from the mains, this wierdly did the job, maybe it required some sort of restart, but, when I did restart the router on it's own may many times before, I guess I had to restart everything.
