If you are a leader, co-leader (or high-ranked member), or member of any VC:MP group or clan, read EVERYTHING BELOW, CAREFULLY!

-> Hereby, I'll be posting some useful info about making your topic and a few things related to groups.
Factions & Groups:
- Factions and groups are formed to allow people to roleplay similar styles and characters together. Factions or groups do not have priority over clans, and neither the clan has priority over the gang. Tags in gangs and groups are more frequently used to identify a gang rather than a clan. Players in gangs or groups should (when acting within that group) roleplay a suitable alias. Players can join multiple roleplay groups. Gangs can be created for many different styles of roleplay that suite you.
Making a group:
- ANY player can make a clan or group. You do NOT have to ask permission to create it, however there are things you should bear in mind...
1: Group/Clan Tag:
- The tag is usually a way to identify your part in a gang or a group. However, the tags do not give priority or authority to an group over another group or clan. You should not think you're superiour because you have a tag and the other group doesn't.
- If your group has a tag, you can count with our tag protection feature. The tag protection function protects your clan from imposters. For example, if someone which is not a member of your group logs in with the group tag, if your group has tag protection, the player will get automatically kicked from the game!

- The tag should NOT be very similiar to another group or clan tag!
2: Group/Clan Name
- The group name should not be very similiar to another group or clan name. If you think that you can't change the name of the groupo and that the owner of the other group is inactive, you firstly can try to send him a forum PM. If the group owner does not respond, you can ask help to the main administration.
- Group names CAN NOT be racist or contain offensive slang terms!
- IMPOSTERING GROUPS IS FORBIDDEN! Impostering group tags/names will get yourself banned!
3: Group/Clan Relations:
- Mass alliances with many groups (that operate as a very large faction) are not allowed. Alliances such as the "Riff's alliance" and "The Commission" are not allowed, since they can cause segregation to smaller groups and have been known to cause deathmatching. Alliances between one group and another are allowed. But do not exaggerate in the number of allies!
- Group wars are strictly forbidden!!! Wars against other groups and mass deathmatching can result in a whole group warning. If the groups keep causing such problems they CAN be disbanded or even BANNED from the server!
- If you think your problem can not be solved by addressing it directly on their topic (e.g if might create flame or such), then try to contact the group's leader privately. If yet you can not solve the problem, this will then be investigated by the administration team, and the leader of the group will be contacted and the problem solved.
4: Group/Clan territory:
- Groups that claim they own land or turf, have no authority over who enters that area. I've personally seen group members attacking and killing people because of "trepassing" "their proprety". Group memebers are NOT allowed to kill or injure people for refusing to leave a public area (like a street or alley) which the group claims to be their territory. However, there is an exception for this. If the territory of your group is a PRIVATE proprety owned by one of the group members or associates, you're allowed to attack trepassers AFTER asking them to leave.
- There are places which groups call their territory, where groups operate mainly. IF a private meeting is in progress, and is invaded by other players (that are disrupting roleplay or causing cop-criminal TDM) the administrators will take action, so it is advised that there should be no conflict because of turf only. But there are exceptions, as this rule can vary in different roleplay situations. Players can protect their property if they are under threat, however there should be a reasonable roleplay reason for the threat in the first place.
5: Group/Clan acts:
- Killing because ''you are a gangster'' is not allowed, and it's not roleplay. It is not a valid reason to kill people. You should also play relevant to your gang style.
- Hitman contracts must be announced to an admin outside of the group(s) it involves, and the reason explained. If the hit is to get revenge for a death... The player(s) that died cannot be involved.
- When executing a hit contract, the group members that have been hired must follow the Argonath RPG VC:MP Server Rules (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=21147.0) (including hitman contracts rules which are in the rules thread).
NOTE: These rules above states for both groups and clans! However, the clans should not make their topics in this section - only groups!
